We're gonna be rolling UPSB RSVPs pretty soon, but we need to decide on color
We basically have access to all possible RSVP colors + RZDZ.
This is multiple choice, meaning you tick ONLY the colors you're interested in buying.
Feel free to post your favourite color combinations in this thread.
It will be sold on Penwish.
NOTE: the most IMPORTANT matter is the combination of body color and logo color... the rest (e.g. grips) you can mix and match with stock RSVPs, so it's not very important. -

it's a bit more complicated than that,
before they go up on sale on penwish (the main store), there's gonna be a pre-sale for one batch only which can happen as early as next week. since that batch was ordered before this poll was even made, they'll be of a "limited" model so to speak and different from the later batches from penwish. more info will be given about it. -

Because I really don't want to see people trading the heck out of them like they did with PPP wristbands and FPSB rsvps.
I just think it's not cool.
It should be something we cherish. Not buy truckloads to sell/trade at greater value. -

I think by increasing the supply of them will discourage the trading of them =\ so i don't want a limited supply... a limited supply, imo, will make people wnat to trade them even more because of the good deals that they could get with it....
Increased supply --> Decreased value --> Discouragement of people to bother trading them ...

Uhh.. no.
its a classic supply and demand story.
When something becomes more easily available, the price drops, and thus makes people not want to horde as much.
Plus, this wont be a one time thing, they will be easily available for a while if everything goes as planned.
Its not gonna be a rare pen. Its going to be a promotional pen. -

The issue is that colored bodies make inserts not so possible, which is why I at least would prefer clear.

if it's limited, then ppl can resell at greater value cuz ppl don't have a choice.
if its not limited, nobody's gonna buy the reseller at higher price cuz they can just order directly for original price.

just got off with penwish
1) no sunburst, no moonz (they're out of production)
2) each batch must have consistent logo color, but not barrel color.
that means we can do:
-> 2 batches, one gold, one silver.
-> Within each batch, have a variety of barrel color.
which means there will be a great selection to choose from. As mentionned before, grip color is a non-factor.
this is not yet final confirmed tho -

And I don't want coloured barrels. Makes it hard for inserts.. Then again, I don't see why you would want an insert if you're gonna have the UPSB logo there but oh well..
EDIT: ok how about we have gold print on clear barrels so we can just put in plain paper or whatever and it'll be more visible?
Or different colour logos? Cause silver is kinda hard to see. -

for clear barrel pens, we're gonna try to use rare colors for grip like yellow, lime green, gold, silver, cuz there is demand for those, so they would be useful as parts.
you might wonder why no red, that's because we're gonna sell red for pre-sale.
those colours are for the first batches on penwish (first 500 pens), later on we can change them. -
