Looks new to me.
But doing it during a combo would look awefully weird, like a stutter -

Hehe, I agree with Swifty. It looks new, but I wouldn't really use it in a combo. unless you only do one switch, like from t1-12.
edit: did ayatori do this in this video? at approximately 0:03 - 0:04. -

but can also be done in 2 fingers, there would be a part of the maneuver - example [TEIA T1-12] and [TA] - but that will complete the maneuver in all fingers ...

only sonics just very much handmovement imo

eh... sorta new?
but looks very unappealing to me -

It looks to me like a tipped sonic performed in the finger slots instead of on the fingers.

@stone: I've played around with something similar, but not exactly the same.
It has potential...but needs some work. Some suggestions:- don't hold the pen with your Thumb from underneath. You don't need it.
- try jumping two or more slots directly (like T1 to 34) ...it may look more impressive.
- work on your smoothness
- find ways to use in a combo
@others: don't be too quick to dismiss something as unappealing. With some work and creativity, this could be used in a combo mixed with other stalls to give a pretty unique effect. I think this has potential ^^ -

I suppose it's possible to make this look somewhat decent with an ayatori/seven twitchy style.... o.0... but i dunno...it'll probably look ugly if performed by 99% of spinners -.-'' but who knows =P
How'd you come about deciding on the name "TEIA"? -

How do you define "just a fingerswitch"? Is a fingerswitch just one trick, or is it rather a way of doing tricks? Anything can be turned into "just a fingerswitch", but what is the core of the move?
I think this could look good, it resembles some of the moves you've seen in... well, like people have mentioned, Ayatori's and SEVEN's videos. -

It looks like a good way to get to other finger slots.
