I hope I'm posting this in the right section.

Anyone know where in Japan, if that's where it is, to find like the Lime Green, Pink or Orange Sailor Gel pens? Is there a specific place? I can't find these anywhere online either, even looked in Google for just a pic, nothing.

Where in Japan? What would it even matter? No one has found site that sells them this far, so your best chance is to get them from someone in the JEB. They should have them in the bigger stationary stores there I'd guess.

  28. JobinM
    Date: Thu, Jan 24 2008 19:56:13

Hahaha, I asked where because I know someone that might be going to Japan, they could have gotten some.

How do I contact JEB people?

We can get Sailor Gel pens at most of the ダイソー Daiso in Japan. And yea, we can't even find any pictures of them on the Internet other than those filmed by penspinners. It seems it's difficult to get them not through penspinners or the PenWish.

    Websites
    Daiso: http://www.daiso-sangyo.co.jp/
    Sailor: http://www.sailor.co.jp/

Edit: Daiso is a chain of 100-yen shops in Japan, where they sell almost all of the items there at 100 yen (tax excluded).

are all grips basically the same? or are some varied?

  33. darkeh
    Date: Sun, Mar 16 2008 20:10:54

I know that the Beifa has thicker and grippier parts than a sailor, but I've never tried the others.

  34. Se7en
    Date: Mon, Mar 17 2008 00:14:25

i'm pretty sure they're all the same except the beifas

  35. TeddyTemptation
    Date: Mon, Mar 17 2008 01:39:45

even if it's thicker is it just as easy to mod?

  36. K4S

Duraflash overview...the grip is squishier than regular sailor gel grips which is nice. Duraflash are also slightly fatter than regular sailor gels. The difference is quite subtle unlike beifa which are significantly bigger than sailor gels. Overall, duraflash are pretty good substitutes.

Those look exactly like duraflash...most likely the same pen sold under a different name. Good find though ^^

    Date: Wed, Apr 2 2008 15:11:23

Yeah and their more cheaper than Duraflash!

Sorry for costs in PLN but I want only collate it:
    Duraflash - ~2.00 PLN
    TianHao - ~1.80 PLN
Prices are from internet shops, little difference but cheaper tongue.gif

And one guy told me that grips form TianHao are better than Duraflash grips.

  40. Tratto_Pen
    Date: Wed, Apr 2 2008 16:19:29

now in Poland for 1$ we can get 2,2 PLN
    so Duraflash costs ~ 0,9 $
    TianHao costs ~ 0,81 $

    so it's a small difference

Now we are waiting for perfect and cheap copy of dr. Grip xD

One big downside with the Duraflash grips is that they get worn really easily. :/
