Board Help / "Page not showing, only shoutbox" for Firefox users

  1. minche
    Date: Thu, Feb 19 2009 19:15:27

lately when i open some thread (or forum) it only loads shoutbox, and i have to reload the page (which can be annoying because i lose all the info about read/unread posts and stuff)
    anyone else has this problem?

-> THIS PROBLEM IS CAUSED BY A FIREFOX UPDATE. THE SOLUTION IS TO WAIT FOR FIREFOX TO FIX THE PROBLEM BY UPDATING FIREFOX, USE OLDER FIREFOX OR TO CHANGE BROWSER.

Hmm, there are loads of other browsers biggrin.gif Ex. Opera ( which I personally like very much), Google Chrome ( my friends like it very much, but I think it takes too much RAM and CPU, but that is only my opinion), Safari (made by Apple), Netscape (not developed anymore) and many more...

It stopped happening to me, and I never switched away from firefox, so it's most likely an intermittent problem.

    I have a solution.

You only must download the FF Add-on "FasterFox" and everything is working good.

If you are using Firefox 3.5, install this one: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/12878
    Otherwise, install this one: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/9148

Firefox is the only true browser... he fulfils the requirements of W3C as no other browser does- IE is the worst one-.-
