Trading / Buying / New to Spinning - Need some pen help

    About me: I'm in the USAF, and currently in Texas for some training that will last through June. I've known of pen tricks, but until a few days ago I never knew it was an actual hobby or skill. So I started watching a bunch of tutorials on youtube, namely Eso's.

    The pen I've been using is one of those G2 Gel Ink pens. They have the grip, but they're really thick, not very long, and they have the clip which gets in my way alot. I visited the store on base to see if there were any pens that I could find that matched what I saw in all the videos...but there wasn't any even close. I continued my search on the internet and found a whole new world of pens, mods etc. I'm still trying to grasp the lingo.

    My question is, which pens should I be looking for?

    Trade... obviously I don't have pens to trade, but I have a bunch of random things, like a copy of Guitar Hero World Tour (360), A couple USAF Coins, and some other randomness.

    I'll buy what I need, but would prefer to not spend anymore money, due to my wife and I just having an anniversary...my pockets aren't as deep as she'd like.

    Please point me in the right direction so I can get spinning.

    start by getting an rsvp, and 2 bic round stic grips.
    then make a "bictory", just search on youtube and you can find a tutorial
    with the rsvp you can take out the inktube and put the cap on the back, or drill a hole to reverse the inktube

    Awesome!!! I didn't even think about looking on youtube for that stuff. So I watched a couple bictory mods and rsvp mx tutorials. I've got my fair run of bics as I'm sure anyone does. However, those pens with the good grips might give me a run for my money. Thanks again.

    Hm..I'll be willing to give you some of my old pen mods that I don't spin anymore. They aren't broken or anything, they've been sitting at the top of my desk for ages. You are free to take them if you like.
