General Discussion / Pen spinning on the first date?

    If you were dating a man/women, would you mention that you were a pen spinner on the first date? Would you demonstrate it? If you ended up somewhere and there was a pen around, would you pick it up and spin it, or just leave it for now as it is your first date?

    i will bring my pen... but wont spin it... and will only talk about it if she wants to know about my hobby

    if she aint dating me just cuz i penspin.. then she doesnt truly love me.. end of story =]

    Well, I'm not sure about bringing a mod, since I have a random one in my pocket most of the day...
    But anyway, I don't think I'll spin on the first date... I'll talk about only if it came up in the conversation.. otherwise, to me at least, it feels a bit like showing off, like saying "look at the cool stuff I can do with this pen!". I'll also try to avoid inspecting, and spinning random pens I'll find... I my date, I guess I should focus on the girl, not random pens I find around =P

    And about the second question, it really depends- I guess I'll try to not actively spin when with her, but if she couldn't stand me spinning at all, I guess it won't work~

    I'll probably bring a mod with me in case i got bored or anything.

    And would only discuss it if it was brought up.

    Agreed with whiteblue on second part. If she doesn't like me penspinning, she's probably not supposed to be with me. She may hate it, but not to the point where everything relates back to it.

    I never dated before, so I don't know, but I won't mention pen spinning but talk about it if it comes up in conversation.


    If the girl don't like my pen spinning, I'll just refrain from spinning, but I spin unconsciously, so I dont know

    yeah same here.

    if it comes up in the conv., i will just talk about it.

    if the girl doesnt like me cuz i ps, then shes not the one.

    I randomly did tricks with pens back then when I was just going out with my girl, she was like "cool"
    But either way. I have never been "WHOA CHECK IT OUT MAN!!!!"

    Question #2: What I would say. "You know, even if you tell me not to. I will always, at least subconsciously spin. Sorry"
