Hey,
I saw that pen that Joey spun in TWPS 6th.
I now know it´s called Signo NX MMTX and I found that on youtube:
Body: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYNTc3vk ... re=related
Cap: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uW5F6HBoAKc
But my questions are:
-Is there a written tutorial or sth.?
-Does someone have a material list and how long to cut the Signo-Bodys and the G2 ?
-Does someone have the pen and can give some feedback? -

From what i see, the cap part should be something like:
Signo tip < Hgg grip in a Hyperjell/G3 cap.
The body should be like:
G3 < G2 piece < Hgg grip on a front piece of a signo cut of < Signo tip.
Hope this helps. And im not 100% sure though because he did not state the pens he used. -

hi
Let me answer:
signo dx x2
g2 x1
latte x1
but what is latte?
the pen at the buttom of the page
http://www.pilot-pen.com.tw/ProductList.aspx?CategoryID=2
(sorry it is chinese page)
detail of the pen:
length:19.8cm
weight:heavy(for me?)
difficulty:hard(for me and spinners in TWPS)for you guys it is easy I know
what should you prepare:
http://img172.imageshack.us/img172/2049/material2go4.jpg
1.the barrel in blue box should be thinner
2.cut G2 barrel in 4 cm
3.two insert same pattern, the barrel part is 7.5 cm,and the G2 part is- 4.05cm4.an empty signo ink tube without metal part
the rest part you could find out in videos
good luck when you modify!!
I am surprised that you know my pen! -

Hey,
thanks
I saw your pen and thought it was a MX but then I recognized,it was different.
I read in the comments on YT,it was a NX MMTX and I wanted to mod it^^
Hm...
I think that Latte-Cap can be subbed with a HyperJell? -

why dont we get joey to make a tutorial and put it in tutorials pending approval? Cause i wanna make one of these as well. -

i made one. Its pretty heavy even though its only 2 signo tips. I subbed the cap with hyperjell too and its still balanced.
Theres an odd ridge between the signo body and g2 piece though.. -

I made it,too.
I subbed the cap with hyperjell and hyperjell-grip inside the cap ---> unbalanced
so : no tip inside the cap ---> balanced
Damn...I hate putting an inlay under G2-barrels .___. -

the insert would be put in the G2 easier when the insert are longer than 4cm (but not too long)
watch the video and you will find out why it is better -

It´s Signo DX.
And there´s a signo-tip inside the cap in the original one,I left it out cause the hyperjell-cap and -grip are heavy
ehough to balance it.
It spins nice,yes,even if it´s a bit too long for me^^ -

Someone should make it, make a tut, then put it in "Tutorial's Pending Approval" so more people know how to make this mod.
If no one makes a tut, I wouldn't making a tut when I acquire the parts and of course I would give Joey credit.
Also, does anyone know what the front grip is and what the back grip is? I heard the front was a signo DX maybe, but wouldn't it bulge like E-Raisings version, unless you file the front?
Thanks. -

The way this mod is made in the front is sanded down signo body -> G2 Barrel -> Cut/sanded down signo body. There is a bulge because the lip that the tip screws onto was not sanded down. The front grip is signo DX

I might make another Joey mod, so i'll just do that when I make it... -

I just got the parts for another Joey Mod, and I made a step by step tutorial today for you guys. You can find that tutorial here: http://www.upsb.info/forum/index.php?showtopic=21035 . This thread is now useless...so /closed.
