Naming Committee / [topic][5.20.3] Spinner identification modifier

I would like to develop the modifier for spinners (in multiple spinning scenarios like xsxpxh) right away to show people the extendability of the modifier system.
1. What should be the modifier symbol/letter for spinners?
Now this is tricky because the system needs to accomodate any number of spinners. We can't just define a symbol for spinner A and another one for spinner B. There could be more than that. So the modifier itself needs to be flexible.
IMO because numbers are already used by fingers, the next best thing is using letters. We notate the spinners by a letter each in some arbitrary manner.
The problem with this is that:
- there are 26 letters only, although for all intent and purposes that is more than enough for any situation. for correctness however, we can say that spinners above 26 are called "aa" and "bb" etc., its a simple fix.
- this reserves all letters for modifier notation, meaning we can't use them as modifier for anything else. This might cause a problem if a letter is really aprpopriate for something else. There are several fixes for this:
We only reserve the first 4 letters: a b c d. The 5th spinner would be aa, etc. Then from e onwards we can use for other things. the cut-off is kind of abstract, which is a drawback, although in regular situations, you will probably never have more than that many spinner anyway so its a transparent limitation.
The modifier could be a symbol followed by a number. For example \a, meaning \ indicates that whatever follows it will be the id of the spinner. In this case if you have multiple modifiers you always put the spinner id info at the end. ie 1*\a = non-dominant index finger of spinner a. This way we can reuse all letters.
I'm leaning towards the latter. Still needs to determine the symbol, I like \.
2. What's the tag?
As per the convention in the bracket system, it would be whatever the modifier is. -

So breakdowns could look like IA 1"\a 1\b - 1\b 2\b, I think I like just having straight letters myself, but there is always the chance of cutting ourselves short in the future =/ I am on the fence to what we should use .

In juggling, a capital letter is simply used (A,B,C,D etc). This system seems to work well there. Lower case letters are used regularly in juggling too, to describe patterns (e.g. a44444, d19151). This seems to work out fine. Could we not just reserve capital letters too?

Would we be able to notate something like this?
It will probably become really ugly and long to notate. -

It would be like Water 1A1B-2A1B, something like that I am not entirly sure how to notate water type tricks, but it should look similar to that at least

Alright, its not as bad as I thought that it was going to be. Looks pretty good to me. I like the cap the best.

I think capital letters is the sound option here,
fi there is no objection, it will be included in the article. -

My post got lost, but as I said using capital letters can be confusing because we already use it for parts of the hand (B for back, P for Palm, T for thumb... and maybe in a future we have A for Arm, E for Elbow, W for Wrist...).
Then, a spinner who performs a trick on 12 (B12) can be confused with a trick done with the back of the hand and 12 (Baktap B12-B12). -

thats true
its difficult to find a good modifier because it is too be enumerable,
i think ideall it should b e greek letters but its hard to type.
