Advanced Tricks / What is the opposite of a BackAround?

  1. Mats
    Date: Sun, Mar 22 2009 02:11:29

    So, what would be the opposite of a BackAround? It has been suggested so far that it could be a BackAround Reverse, or an Inverse BackAround Reverse? Could it be either of these, or something else? Is there simply no opposite at all?

    Discuss.

    Edit: (so that the below post makes some kind of sense)

    Direction is opposite but nothing else is. Maybe the opposite of BackAround would be an Inverse Reverse BackAround?

    The opposite of a BackAround is hard to say? Like, what is the opposite of computer?

    IA is using a finger push, bak is fingerless

    i still say you're thinking way too deeply into this

    opposite:
    â–¸ noun: something inverted in sequence or character or effect

    therefore, i stand by my opinion of bak rev

    Opposite means doing or thinking in a reverse manner.

    In terms of penspinning, Inverse means moving the same direction on the other side of the hand.

    That being said, Reverse means going to the opposite direction in which the pen went originally.

    Therefore, a opposite backaround is a reverse backaround

    Both Inverse and Reverse are opposites.

    Inverse = opposite side
    Reverse = opposite motion

    So... yeah...

    wait, so a inverse bak is the same thing as a bak rev???

    oooh weird....

    idk i tryed it out and its the same, since inverse means other side of hand, and reverse is also the same motion/side of hand

    most ppl just call it BackAround Reverse, though, so i'll go w/ that

    Noobish, you're not paying attention to Pandubear.

    Opposites:
    Inverse = Side of Hand
    Reverse = Motion

    side and motion are two different things

    I'm just going to reverse the car.

    I'm just going to opposite the car.

    That was a reverse BackAround.

    That was an opposite BackAround.

    Seems different?

    Opposite is a more general term.

    Reverse is a kind of opposite - opposite in direction.

    A bakrev is a bust, do a bust, theres a bakrev, do a bak now. A bak spins clockwise if you're looking at it from the top. A bakrev spins counterclockwise. In theory a inv. bak would spin clockwise but on the same path a bakrev follows. So bakrev does not equal a inv. bak.
