General Discussion / Pentel Challenge: WE WON!

A while back, Xero and I helped 3 NYU students with their marketing competition to help promote Pentel's new Recycology line of pens, pencils, highlighters, and markers, and... we won!!!
Here's the original thread on this project if you don't know what I'm talking about: http://www.upsb.info/forum/index.php?showtopic=15721&hl=
And here's a link to one of the student's blog: http://ericaswallow.blogspot.com/2009/03/j...nal-awards.html
I'm so happy that we won this, and I was really not expecting this at all... Especially since I, and probably Xero, did not feel the end projects were all that spectacular. But it was a great experience that we had with the filming and above all, it was fun.
In addition to that, Xero and I will each be receiving a $250 check for our help with this project =] which is another plus
It's nice to see penspinning concepts win marketing competitions such as this, and so we may be put on commercials by Pentel to advertise this Recycology line (this isn't confirmed yet though)...
So, I had just wanted to just drop this by you guys in case you guys were wondering what ever happened to that Pentel Challenge that we had done a couple months ago. -

If they let you spin a mx, you could do better, RSVP and HGGs are from pentel!!

sure, but they're promoting the Recycled pens, not RSVPs and HGGs.

Hmm....well, this was ~3 months ago so I don't remember exactly... I remember Kam had IMed one day asking me if i knew any decent spinners in NY who could make trips to the city once a week, for a few weeks...and were outgoing and whatnot... (there was a whole list of criteria)... I'm not sure if Kam had mentioned any prize money at the end of this... =\ but I'm sure that we would've done it anyway regardless...
and thanks to everyone else =] -

We knew there was money, but that wasn't a guaranteed thing. We had to win first.
Anyway, thanks guys.
