Eriror's signature trick

Is it necessary to learn the pinkybak reverse before learning this trick? My pinkybak reverse practicing isn't going very well and I'd rather skip ahead to the indexpinkybak rev.

Uh, you can skip ahead and try the full trick but its only going to be that much harder to learn if you dont know the feeling to catch a pinkybak rev.

learn IndexMiddleAround first. i'll help alot.
it may help if you think of IndexPinkyBak Rev this way: IndexAround ~> FL Devil's Shadow 12-34.
perhaps learning devil's shadow 34-34 may also help with the feeling of catching the pen. -

I took MANY shortcuts learning this trick
I just needed to know tw sonic bust...then I experimented with how to "throw" it onto the back of my hand and around the pinky -

It's easier to do an indexringbak rev. :| -

(palm down) Twisted Sonic Normal 23-12 > Indexaround Normal 12-12[p][s 1.0] ~ Devil's Shadow 12-34[s 1.0][c] -
Date: Sun, Dec 16 2007 17:43:00
Okay, so it's this:
Inverse Twisted Sonic 34-23 --> Twisted Sonic Bust 23-12 to FingerLess Devil's Shadow 12-34
What's the link between the bust & FL Devil's Shadow?
I mean, I know how to do the normal one, but fingerless?
Is it more like this:
Twisted Sonic 23-12 > Indexaround 12 ~ Shadow 12-34? -

Inverse twisted sonic? I'm pretty sure it's a twisted sonic.... You use the momentum from the twisted sonic bust to do the fl devils shadow. When you're about to catch the combo, don't catch it. Close up your fingers and let the pen continue to travel across the top of your hand.
At the end of the trick, the pen goes around the pinky (doing a pinky around) and is caught -- making it more of a fl devils shadow. The catch is the hardest part of the trick, and I first practiced the reverse devils shadow 34 (aka angels shadow 34?) to understand the catch. I made a thread on this, but I forget who gave me that advice, but it was very good advice.
Oh, it was dathroat who gave me the advice on the thread I made. He rocks.QUOTE (DaThroat @ Nov 5 2007, 05:41 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>learn IndexMiddleAround first. it'll help alot.

The bust turns into a shadow, right?
At least it spins on the back of your hand, right? -

like that
its not just a shadow12-34 -

I'm having issues on turning the bust into a shadow so it slides down my hand.
any positioning tips? -

If you're a righty, move your hand to the left and tilt your hand a little bit.

Inverse Twisted Sonic 34-23 --> Twisted Sonic 23-12 --> IndexPinkyBackAround Reverse 2.0 12-34...
I did the Inv. Twisted Sonic before the Twisted Sonic. -

For the momentum?
And the video hosted on this thread is no longer working.
Is it on youtube by any chance? -

two different angles should suit your needs -

Thanks. Your angle helped a lot.

IMO this trick isn't that hard.
I think that it would be could if you know how to make a ThumbindexmiddleAround(TA ext that is caught in 23) then you now "how" the pen goes over your fingers. Then you can try to make a Thumb~>PinkyAround. . After that you only have to learn it with the tw. sonic bust -

What trick should be done to work on the catch?
Pinkyaround? -
Date: Mon, Jan 28 2008 23:34:00
Fingerless Pinkyaround would probably be best, you should practice pushing the pen around the outside of the pinky finger.

I started doing a Devil's Shadow 34-34 for the catch seeing as how it's kinda similar.
But should I stick with a FL Pinkyaround instead?

So I've been doing this trick for a while now, and I can catch it almost every time.
However, I never catch it near the middle of the pen. It's always close to the end of the pen, and I can't link it to anything else.
Any suggestions on that?
(I double posted to bring the thread back to the front) -

You can link it to a Ringbak Rev > Fl Pass Rev > Middlebak Rev > Fl Pass Rev > Indexbak rev.... Basically a Bakrise. -

I've seen people link it to Demon's Sonic too. It's just that I'm having trouble linking it to anything. The momentum just doesn't seem to flow. -

can't you just sorta loosely catch it and just pass it up o.0..?

You can link it to anything. Just needs practice, I guess?
