me too...s777 and rarka are out.
the tournament needs to be changed to something like the diving system. everyone should just send in a video and the upper half are kept, the lower half are discarded. it makes no sense
for two spinners to verse each other, they dont affect each others spinning ability like in tennis where you affect the opponent.
pen spinning is an art more similar to ballet. although the head to head is very exciting, its not an accurate result of the spinners. its silly having two "upper tiers" versing each other (even though we dont have a seed ranking, but im sure many would admit s777 and peem should BOTH be in the top 5) i know its very hard organizing this stuff and its only the 2nd WT so i understand. i dont intend this to be a flame at all. Im still quite amazed that people would place time in this, so keep it up WT organizers. but hopefully next year it will change.

so what, in dart throwing, matchplay golf, drag racing, air racing, sailing match race, you don't really affect your opponent. the solution is to use seeding system... which is what we are researching in the RD right now for future competitions. -

sorry man, u r just wrong on this
if u ever join some kinda tourney or talk to some of these spinners, u would know that for sure they are affected by their opponent (if they take this seriously), they look at their opponents to decide wut kind of tricks they'll use, should they focus on difficulty or style, how much should they hold back
i'll give u an example, in R1, when ssEno was making a combo, he added in one or two cont baks, which he was not good at, just to cancle out x1213's cont bak, because he analysed x1213 and know wut he for sure will use -

seeding would be a really good system to use in this case. it would definitely up the effectiveness of the wt.

but i thought WT uses a judging system that was based on scores. If this was a yes or no system, then yes it the spinners would affect each other. -

the score system doesnt tell you anything at all outside of the 1vs1 battle, thats why we get weird stuff like Katix 190+ points in round 1. You can't compare a 190 in one battle against a 150 in another one. -

Caras is a fucking dick. He had a score much too close to Erirornal's! Eriror should have won this battle by soooo much more! Stupid Caras.
Other results were sort of as expected, no real surprises.
