Not a terrible tutorial...
you definately need pictures, and need to have more detail in you steps..
As well, do you mean G2 grip or G3 grip inside the tips?? the materials list and process are conflicting.
You need to have a more accurate weighting.
Plus: Its WAYYY too big for your teeny hands -

Are there any subs for the watercolor pen body? Could you use a Namae or M&M body instead? I can get all the parts except for the damn watercolor body. Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure you can just use a M&M body for it, i think that's what stevieboy had used ^^ -

19 cm is a pretty good size. Average. Too small for me though. And pen seems okay, imo it's a pretty boring mod. but I guess it is seven's mod. so people are gonna love it. -

i used an extended m&m body..
you would have to do that to get the length... otherwise it would just be hella short. -

Super tip body is closest in length, M&M body would probably be a tiny bit closer in feel than the super tip.QUOTE (Charlie @ Mar 29 2009, 08:47 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>19 cm is a pretty good size. The spinning space is pretty big, but the cap thingy is small so yeah..Kinda small but it spins pretty well. Probably the only way people can make it "unboring" would be using the different sarasa grip colors and mixing them up in patterns or w/e + varied caps etc...

Okay, noob question. What's an extended M&M body? How much longer is it than a normal M&M body? Thanks. -

if you wrap some tape around the backplug and the tip part of a ct, m&m, or kt barrel, you can 'extend' the body (with caps on) to be 10.5 cm (2.5 cm longer)
good luck -

Cool, thanks. I'm assuming that the caps aren't more prone to come off because of this? -

Im guessing if you get a good amount of tape and a good amount of the cap being on the body, then you should have no problem -

Where does the G2 grip go? Between the Alpha Gel tip and Sarasa grip? Or inside the Alpha Gel tip? Can you add a picture showing where it goes/how to fit it in?
And can someone post a picture of one of these where the watercolor body is subbed with an extended M&M body? I'd like to see how to tape up the M&M body to get the right length.
Thanks. -

You leave a part of the sarasa hanging off the end of the cap, that space that the hanging section creates : where you shove the g2 grip in, above the a-gel tip and inside the walls of the sarasa grip

The point of the mod is using the watercolor body. It's rare, making the pen mod very valuable.
You can use a sub to make the mod, it just wouldn't be worth much.
