    Yes

    A writing/spinning utensil

We would find something else to write with and spin e.g fine brush and paint, pencils etc.

    You bet it is technology.
We could still be writing with charcoal if that is what you want.

I don't think it's possibly for a pen to literally not exist... at least not without changing the entire world dramatically. The pen was invented to make writing easier, so if it didn't exist now, it would be invented in the near future.
Although, if pens really didn't exist, we would probably be spinning something else (sticks, paint brushes, etc.)

Even if it doesn't exist, it will eventually, a city won't be called a city if people there can't write, and if they don't have a pen, it won't be convenient, so some1 will eventually invent it.

yes it will eventually. IF we can't think up of a "writing", then that's because we were born with that brain. But we were born with the brain that could think this far.

That's why we eventually came up with pens and pencils

Pen is definitely a technology. We make them, we use them.

Pen is something that is made using creativity. We can't make anything without creativity. laugh.gif

Then we will be using other writing materials like markers... etc.

yer pen spinning is a technolgy because we use it n we made it
if we didnt invent pens then wat would use 2 write
bak in the olden days a sharp rock that could carve big rocks was none as a pen n they probably spun that
so we have always had some form of writting material which we call a pen

It's a simple machine used for writing. Lol. Tho technology-wise, I'd say it is one. Why dont u check the dictionary for the meaning of technology. I think its more of those using electricity power? i dunno man... wat the hell am i babbling about..

It's definitely a piece of technology. Before the pen was invented, all previous writing instruments were dipsticks; none of them had an ink reservoir so you'd have to keep dipping an ink well to use it. The pen's ability to be portable and usable allows a lot of convenience and efficiency that wasn't available with previous instruments.
