    oh wow ohmy.gif that was pretty cool

    so it's a string with two glowsticks on either ends? cause sometimes the videos suggest otherwise
    is it still considered glowstringing when there's no string? cause thre was this guy in that collab video who i dont' think use a string

    but overall, it was pretty awesome happy.gif
    looked so computerized, but knowing that it wasn't just makes it cooler biggrin.gif

    The whole art in general is called glowsticking. When there are strings attached it's called glowstringing, and when its only glowsticks it's called freehanding. There are also glowchucks and handles within glowstringing, which both have glowsticks on either end of the string, but glowchucks are much shorter than handles.

    Sometimes people do glowstringing with both glowstrings in one hand, sometimes with both in onehand and one in the other. Its kinda like 2p1h in penspinning XD. Freehanders also do a lot of 3 stick stuff.

    i jus do some basic raves like figure 8s and waving it around. but never done it with an actual glowstick. use my cellphone and borrow someone elses, open them to light them up. and start raving =P

    Haha.

    To most glowstringers on the boards, the stereo type of drugs with glowstringing has basically become a joke.

    Relating glowsticking to drugs to me seems kinda like saying all penspinners are geeky asian kids who get 4.00's... just another one of those sterotypes.

    Well there are two different types of raves that most people refer to.

    Undergrounds (which normally have like 50-1000 people)
    Massives (which normally have like 10,000 - 30,000 people)

    Honestly, the few raves I've been to had too many people for the space they were in, it was hot as hell , the air was sticky, and that combined with drugs just wasn't terribly fun in my opinion, even with the music. I prefer open spaces and a limited number of people.

    Actually i don't know about your cam but if the room was even more dark than in the 1st one the light"strings" might be even longer.

    anyways i thought glowsticking and glowstringing are different. glowsticking is with no string while.. yeah you get the point

    will learn both thou. XD

    Nice. I got into glowstringing after using poi for about a year.
