    Stats
    -------------------------------------------------
    Name: Fx Pen mod
COG: Back- heavy, about 1.5 cm from the middle
Length: About 18 cm, give or take 1 cm. The spinnable surface(including cap) is about 12 cm.
Weight:Sorry, my scale broke, but the felling is About(or a little less) than that of a RSVP MX.
Style: Looks like an MX, but has that grippy barrel ^o^
Writing-Mechanism: From the back, Fixed Ink Tube(inside the cap)
    Ink-Type: Ball point ink
Estimated-Cost: Around $11 if you use a Dr. Grip, but only about $4 if you sub the Dr. Grip grip.
    -------------------------------------------------
    Materials List:
x2 Papermate Flexgrip Ultra Retractable Pen (With metal tip, Some have plastic)
x1 Papermate Flexgrip Capped pen (With/without metal tip, Long barrel)
x1 First 1 cm of Dr. Grip grip, you want the side with the lip on it
    x1 Pentel RSVP
x1 Uniball Signo Tip (You want the metal ones)
    Some anyball/ Profile grip portions
    Some tape
    Krazy/Super/Hot Glue (Anything REALLY sticky)
A hacksaw/ some way to cut through the cap (Btw, the plastic of the cap is pretty soft)
    -------------------------------------------------
Ok, now that everythings listed out, lets begin happy.gif

    Spoiler:
Step 1: Gather your materials, and gather the following from your pens:
    http://s728.photobucket.com/albums/ww286/o...urrent=Tut3.jpg
    As following:
From Non- Retractable Flexgrip: The Long barrel, the cap, and the inktube.
From Retractable flexgrips: 2 The 2 metal tips.
From RSVP: The grip, and the cap.
From Papermate profile: The grip, cut it up as Shown: a Section of 5 and a section of 2.
From Dr. Grip: First 1 cm of Dr. Grip grip, you want the side with the lip on it
From Uniball Signo: The METAL tip.(adding this because some of them have plastic tips)

    Step 2:
Screw the Non-retractable inktube into the non-retractable barrel and put on the 2 Metal tips on each side as shown:
    http://s728.photobucket.com/albums/ww286/o...urrent=Tut5.jpg

    Step 3:
Cut about 2 cm from the Cap of the Flexgrip as shown:
    http://s728.photobucket.com/albums/ww286/o...urrent=Tut4.jpg

    Step 4:
Count 4 rings from the middle of the barrel(now with tips in it), and glue it on. By rings I mean the little indents where the grip stops. it should hang out over the flexgrip tip a little.
    http://s728.photobucket.com/albums/ww286/o...urrent=Tut7.jpg

    Step 5:
Wrap tape around the Lip of the Signo tip(the part where it flattens out)
    http://s728.photobucket.com/albums/ww286/o...urrent=Tut8.jpg
And then put it in the part of the cut cap where it hangs over, and glue it so It's stable.
    http://s728.photobucket.com/albums/ww286/o...urrent=Tut9.jpg

    Step 6:
Put the RSVP grip into the RSVP cap to make an MX-style cap. Make it so that the space between the end of the grip and the opening of the cap is 1 cm. (As shown)
    http://s728.photobucket.com/albums/ww286/o...rrent=Tut10.jpg
Then, cut out little peices of tape and flatten them against the side of the MX-style cap, until the barrel can be securely capped and uncapped and will not fall off during spinning. Honestly, this part of the tutorial takes the most time.(As Shown)
    http://s728.photobucket.com/albums/ww286/o...rrent=Tut11.jpg
it will end up somewhat like this:
    http://s728.photobucket.com/albums/ww286/o...rrent=Tut12.jpg

    Step 7:
Put the now assembled cap on the back of the pen, and make sure it does not wobble. If it does, add more tape if needed.
Then put the profile grips onto the front of the pen, on the cut Flexgrip cap and put the Dr. Grip grip portion in front of the Profile rings and put it over the from of the cut Flexgrip cap, hiding the glue. Heres a pic of mine:
    http://s728.photobucket.com/albums/ww286/o...rrent=Tut13.jpg

    Step 8:
    Spin away! ^o^

Im sorry if I did not follow some of the guidelines, I tried to the best of my abilities to follow it, but if I did mess up, please tell me and I'll edit it. Now for the pros and Cons! happy.gif

    Pros:
My hand is small, so for everyone out there with small hands, this is the mod for you! happy.gif
The grippy barrel feels like an actual grip, but does not get in the way of thumbaround/Rev thumbaround
    Spins like an MX
Thin barrel, good for small hands like mine

    Cons:
Bad for spinners with big hands
Looks bad if not made correctly
The tape in the back cap is honestly not appealing (For better results, use Black Electrical Tape. My little brother stole my electrical tape, so I used regular tape. Packaging tape could also be used.
The back cap wobbles a bit, but only if you forcibly try to pry it.

note: if I made any mistakes, please tell me! I will fix it ASAP.
Thanks for reading my first tutorial! happy.gif

That looks really nice! Dang I need some flexgrips... Just one thing, I'd suggest sticking [img] tags around the image links.
It makes it easier to read and follow the tutorial.

Either way, do I need a Dr. Grip grip? Or could I replace it with say, 1 cm of a clear sailor grip?

    Looks like an ok mod...
Not bad actually, I've been seeing too much crap mods lately.
One thing though, you might want to retake some of those pics because they're pretty blurry =\
Other than that, nice mod smile.gif

You could, or any 1 cm of opaque white grip(for spinning effect)
