it has less weight than the usual buster cyl. perfect for infinities.
    so here's the tut

    specs:
    lenght: 19.3cm
weight: 12ve's mod < buster elite < buster cyl
    style: double sided
    writing mech: none

    materials:
    1x crayola supertip
    2x zebra airfits

    1. take off the tips and grips of airfit and take the cyl cap off..

    2. put the tip inside the grip.. make sure make it look like this...

    3. double gripped the body..(optional) put a insert inside the grip

    4. spin it

well, basically a bustercyl with longer grips...

I don't think the ends are stable enough, =/. I personally think a regular CYL is better than this because the ends might fall off anytime and keep on wiggling while you spin it.

no they're stable as seven old pen mod. because the grips are too tight too hold the tip enough.

how are you sure that it's as stable as SEVEN's watercolor pen mod? You don't even have one. dry.gif

this isn't a new mod... you just reversed the tips on a buster facepalm.gif. And... wouldn't it be heavier than buster cause your using 2 whole grips instead of 1 cut in half?

  7. Sankaku
    Date: Fri, Apr 3 2009 21:32:21

yeah, not a new mod at all, and i dont get how its lighter than a buster, it uses the exact same stuff. and the airfit grips weigh next to nothing, so yeah, not really a weight factor at all.

It's slightly different from a Buster CYL because it doesn't use Comssa caps and the tips are reversed + longer grips.

Alright, this needs a lot of improvement.

    1. Most people like their buster by how it is, they don't need a variant that's probably less stable.
    2. Keep it a personal variant. Or ask around and see if anyone wants a tut.
    3. Just because you like it doesn't mean everyone else will. There's the huge stick controversy, and many people won't spin it anyways.

This post is gonna get quoted...

I would make this 100%, if I could bother to get airfits. I like how you eliminated the need for caps, and made use of the second airfit grip, which is usually hanging around after making a normal Buster CYL. The two main problems I see with this modification is it's durability and, for lack of a better word, stick-ness. The first problem could be solved with some glue possibly. As for it's "stick-ness", I would say you need to focus this mod on doing something besides acting as a practice baton for pen spinning. Find a creative way to make it writable, or some other unique function.
As for everyone else's comments, I think you understand that people can get a little pissed when someone posts a mod that people haven't been going crazy over wink.gif (I thought that was the point of having a tutorial approval system (>_>) whatever). So maybe post in SOYP first, and people will be able to figure it out from there.

this is very good for silent spinning biggrin.gif

u wouldnt need to worry about dropping this pen because no matter which way u drop it, the grips would cushion the impact of the fall (since the grips have a bigger circumference than the pen).

u could drop it parallel to the ground, angled (no tips to make clacky noise).

the only problem about the pen dropping is that the body may hit the edge of something and make a clack.

but still, this pen has more chances of silent dropping than usual buster cyl.

    i c wat u did thar...
but i think when your spinning it fast, the tips might be able to launch out and may loose your tip or if it might hit someone.

i'll go post it in the soyp, but anyway thanks for your constructive criticism,.,
and this mod is also durable, the grips are not wiggling when you spin, cuz airfit grips are hard and not capable to wiggle. (unless you bent it yourself).,i think i have to add a pen test for buster cyl elite.,gonna film it if i have more time.

There are no Comssa caps, and the Airfit grips are practically weightless.
