this sounds nice, do we actually have to do these things, or do they just "occur"

Really nice game. I love such games. Few questions:

    1. Only 1 action can be taken in a turn or many?(I think you mentioned it but still i want to confirm)

    2. The bidding will be according to the dollars we have??

    3. Will the game start as soon as 8 players join?

    4. We have discuss trades in public??

    5. Who will organize a collab?

    6. Will you tell the amount of $ for modding in the discussion phase or any other time?

    7. How much time will be given for discussion phase(in days or hours)?

    8. Will there be a fixed time when all the participants have to come online?

You may want to increase the fame points for donation.

Any "Real" prizes for the person who wins??

    1. one action per turn
    2. yes, you are bidding with your pens collection, which is represented in $
    3. yes
    4. no, but once you have set up a thread, you write in the game thread

    TRADE WITH:

Then the other person quotes your post and say

    CONFIRMED

    5. The rules for collab are simple, nobody organizes the collab in the game, you don't have to worry about it, everybody who choose collab action for one turn are part of the same collab.
    6. At the beginning of the game, I will reveal how much money is added to the pool every turn.
    7. 72 hours, maybe more.
    8. No

"You may want to increase the fame points for donation."

We'll see, first game is a playtest.

"Any "Real" prizes for the person who wins??"

No, because this game is still in testing. Rules can change after 1 game after I get feedback and see what works and what doesn't work.

Thanks for answering those questions Zombo. Few more questions:

    1. If i discuss a trade with another guy and in that turn i choose some other action than trade, will it be considered scam?

    2. Total how many turns are there in the game or when will the game finish? Like in Snakes and Ladders when someone reaches the 100th box, he/she is considered as winner.

Since donation is a good deed, it shouldn't be considered as a action.

    1. yes

    2. maybe 8 turns total, around 1 month of playtime.

"Since donation is a good deed, it shouldn't be considered as a action."

donation is more of an action to convert all your unused pens at the end of the game for fame points, probably will only be used at the last turn. it gives you the decision to either waste your last turn to convert all your pens in fame, or take another action that might give you more points. but donataion is considered a safe option because you know exactly how much fame points you're gonna get for all your donated pens

Those things make donation too powerful. You could just donate your whole pen collection and flame someone all on the last turn, and there wouldn't be much incentive to get the fame bonus for most PW at the end of the game. Safe actions like "donate" and "practice" are there to cater to different strategies that players might use.

    This maybe a dumb question:

When we bid for the auction and win, the $s we bid for gets reduced??
