Advanced Tricks / How Long before you could combo?
How long did it take?

Basically, I just want to know how long it was before you guys were able to do like, 10-20+ trick combos.

took me like...6 months.
my friend took 1 month before being able to do a combo.
it was "fairly easy" in his opinion. -

Wow, been like, 3 months of spinning so far, the only things i can link are reverse thumbarounds to sonics, and double charge to sonic.

well um.. it took me about 2 to 4 months to come up with a combo using the tricks i learnt. then it took a few more months to smoothen and lengthen combos.

I think it took me forever to come up with one combo, at least seven or eight months, but i never practized that combo to get it smooth, I just kept on learning more and more tricks.

Actually, I didn't tart doing combos until about 6 months into pen spinning. I was ony learning tricks at the time.

Depends what you want to do. You can just do a cont. TA for 10 times around and then you've done it. Less than a week of effort.

^Title. for clarification, I meant before you thought up your own combos and executed them fairly well, and started entering battles, tournaments, collabs, solo vids, etc.

I think I've been coming up with my own, more or less, combos since I knew more than one trick. I had my first battle when I had been spinning for like 4-6 months, don't remember. I haven't made a solo yet.

i dont know, mainly when u mess around for fun, ur basically coming up with your own mini combos...for me it was 3 weeks..but they were short...still havent done any battles and official fancy stuff though

ask your self "have i mastered this trick yet to put it into a chain?" usualy if i learn a new trick and i master it i will try it on a chain combo. first by making it as the starter later i learn to put it in a middle of a combo. that's how i learn combo. just like eso said "it's easy to learn but hard to master"

I think I've made the first combo with 5 - 6 months.
I tried can the tricks first and then to combine with each other.
At the beginning it is really hard to spin a creative combo, but with time you learn to spin a better combo.
But my first video I've made with 9-11 month. -
