Serious Discussion / The moment we step on this road...

we are hooked.
some may not be but it is true for most.
In all seriousness, penspinning is more or less a hobby. people label it as "useless" but I beg to differ.
However, I cannot deny the fact that it is not much of a "transferable" skill when it comes to reality.
The thing is... we cannot easily quit it. In fact, it's almost impossible to quit since you get used to spinning everything that comes into contact with
your hand. And this bothers and distracts many from doing other things.
I feel as if we've stepped on the road where there is no end... it will just be something thats intrinsic in our minds
The point being, how should we deal with this? should we just simply quit? well, that's impossible...
or should we try our hardest to lose interest? or pursue it like no other to transcend the boundaries that no man has gone to?
or simply be the one who just observes from the outside?
as one said
"There are three types of people in this world: those who make things happen, those who see things happen,
and those who wonder what happened." (somewhat irrelevant...but w/e) -

my friend was able to "quit"/lose interest in psing
i dont think he touched a pen in about a month now
you just need another interest to distract you
and by quit, i mean no combo stuff
i think he may do a couple of ta/sonic etc. with an unmodded pen, but thats it -

Impossible? No.
But it would take a lot of will power to quit after you've been spinning for a substantial amount of time. -

I think it's impossible to quit.
If you take up a pen, be it modded or unmodded, and do some TA harmonics or what, it's still considered as PenSpinning, isn't it?
To me, as long as you're still doing a PS trick on whatever thing, you've not quitted it.
