i never really loved any of minwoo's videos in this WT, but that video is just insane! There's only 1 kinda noticeable mistake, and that's it. The finisher could have been stronger, but most of the spins are very very well executed. Good Job!
Peem's bust to air with all the fingers was insane, the finisher was lacking compared to the semifinals vid, but still good. -

After comparing the two combos I get the impression that peems combo is not only better executed but also more difficult. I don't think that minwoos style-elements can turn this around.
On the other hand, the judges surprised me many times during the tournament, so I will eagerly wait for the results.

both combos look great but I have to say that peems combo looks a little more impressive in comparison to minwoos combo. I agree that peems combo lacks a good finisher but the rest is absolutely fine imo. Though i think he could be a bit more creative sometimes. overall i would say that peem is slightly better this time. He should win this tournament. but thats up to the judges.

Very interesting match. I think the result will be close.
This time i thought minwoo gave up some of his stylistic elements to make the combo look faster and smoother, and it worked. The only spin transfer in his combo was unbelievable and the whole thing looked more structured, though a little bit repetitive.
Spinnerpeem this time really surprised me. His combo was a little less hard than his previous, but was structured in a much more logical way. Everything was in the right place. The climax of the combo is in its middle (double bust fall) rather than in the ending and this only contributes to make it more impressive. Overall i think if he could have pulled a hai tua at the end of the finisher this would have been decisive.
IMO spinnerpeem wins due better construction and difficulty of the combo. -

ahah, pretty good match here
Peem's combo flowed well, I really like his aerial near the beginning where he changes direction and the bust sequence right before the finisher was amazing.
Minwoo has a really good combo as well, he doesn't fill his whole combo up with spin transfers this time which lets you focus on other aspects of his spinning. His linkage into the spiderspin and the spiderspin itself is really nice. He also puts in 2 short spin transfers and does some extra hand movements with his left hand that imo work well with the combo and look pretty nice.
Overall, I'd say both combos have about the same level of difficulty, I can't say who'll win, but I can say I'd hate to be a judge for this

minwoo had an overall stronger, solider combo, and had lots of difficulty in every part of his combo
spinnerpeem had a lot of difficult busts, spreads, palmspins, etc, but the filler in his combo was very twisted sonic/pass based
so, i would both had good vids, in different ways, but overall i went with minwoo -

Minwoo's combo had at least the same difficulty, if not way more. Peem's difficulty is just more obvious since we all know busts are OMFG but Minwoo's difficulty was extremely high, every tried to copy the moves? -

peem ends many of his combos with an impressive, difficult finisher so i expected him to show an insane one in his combo here in the final.
But anyway, I think both deserve to win the tournament. -

Are you sure? I think the only thing in minwoos combo that I can't copy are the conversions.
The twisted bak reverse is not as hard as it looks and the wristaround was more hand-movement based and not really as fingerless as the original one by bonkura. The spin over the left hand was hard though...
Peem had some really hard elements.

i liked minwoo's combo more than peem's, but i have a feeling that peem will win just cuz of his 'power' tricks, like busting and spreads. minwoo's difficulty was extremely, higher than peem's, but the judges will choose peem for sure.

I can agree with your last sentence. I did Peem's ending without 2 last TAs at about 3rd try when I took a bustercyl. But rest of his combo is much better than usual - he used to do one or two sequences of awesome tricks and the rest of combo was just spam, in this video I can see this spam is more appealing.
I'm stiil rooting for Minwoo, he did one of the best combo of the whole PS videos I've ever seen. Love his arounds~spiderspins and hand movements.
Both are great spinners and my favourite, so I don't really care who'll win. I can just imagine how difficult is judging... -

Peem's always taking difficulty to another level but I really enjoy minwoo's better structured (more creative and perhaps not as difficult) combo. Peem has 2 main highlights and that's basically his entire combo, the bustfall-like-mini-combo, and the cont ta > palmspin. Minwoo on the other hand has a consistent flowing combo whose highlight is the whole combo itself not just 2 moments.
Really though, it's a tough decision. I voted for minwoo, but I'm biased towards minwoo.

I was disappointed with Minwoo's combo to be honest. Didn't pack as much punch as his usual stuff...
I loved Peem's finisher.
Peem's great and all but I'm hoping for Minwoo.
I would like to hear a nice thorough breakdown of the match up, preferably from Zombo

But id have to go with Peem. Loved the air bust sequence and the ending, and just overall style. Minwoo's was great, but its just too flashy for me with what he does with his left hand. I guess his style was never for me.

And about the combos:
To be honest, I don't really know what to comment. In terms of appeal, I guess I preferred Minwoo. he seemed more flowing, and less repetitive than peem. I really can't say who had higher difficulty, so I won't get into that.
I'm rooting for Minwoo anyway~ -

Both combos were crazy... I was on spinnerpeem side and then I LOOOOVE this combo by miwoo but spinnerpeem has really uped his structure

I think both Peem and Minwoo have got both creativity and difficulty in their combos.
Kinda equal, Minwoo is just... too many creative stuffs. While Peem is... idk... just a beast.
But yea, I voted for Peem. Still love his style, and admire the fact that he's at the finals of a WT at roughly 14?... xD -

To summarize my point : IMO these elemts look really nice and kinda difficult, but in fact they aren't a real challange for most spinners.
To be fair : The difficulty in both is still on a very high level. Both spinners should be proud for accomplishing this (even though is still prefer peems combo, for the reasons mentioned above) -

I've gotta agree. I liked peem's past combos. This one was nice, but not as nice. But I did like the cont ta > palmspin.
And whoops, minwoo's right, I was looking at the wrong section. My bad. Minwoo does this odd mini-combo/hybrid that I can't seem to breakdown. It's something like a devil's conversion swivel ~ spiderspin, but I can't seem to figure out what it is. Around 00:08 I think. No idea why I was looking there and not 00:12... -

I must say that this battle was epic. when i saw minwoo's combo, i thought it was instant win. but then i saw peem's vid. and i was like, "wow. this is also really good." honestly speaking, i think i wouldve voted for peem, but i have always been for minwoo and he has nice stuff. so personally, i feel that this could be anyone's win.

Peem didn't do any spreads. There was only the bust fall and the cont ta > palmspin.
Tis was a great battle though. I'm guessing minwoo's gonna take it. Hopefully. -

I realize it at the first time I watched the vid
but well, it doesn't matter to the combo
peem got game. his skill are incredibly good. It's hard to explain, maybe the natural beauty in the Minwoo style convinced me more

peem "kinda lost it" at 0:17, but those Palmspins are wild!!! peem is known for his busts, so I kinda... well... lost it too when it comes to voting peem
as for minwoo's the usage of 2 hands on the starter, "pen change" at the last part, and "feeling" that his combo was difficult (well, it was.)... all were good.
camera angle: no comment...
quality: minwoo FTW
