I think it will be much efficient to have a thing that can browse and find your photos and upload it. Basic forums in HK has those kind of features. If UPSB had them, I sure will be nice. smile.gif

But uploading to photobucket and then use the link and paste here would take time. It would be better if there was a uploader thingy.

not that much really if youve tried it... like 15 sec? depending on file size

and making the uploader thingy would take time and thered be a concern for viruses and itd be easier for ppl to attack the forum via uploader

hmm wait... i guess that doesnt really matter since we use upsb vid uploader...

but itd be more convenient for people since photobucket/imageshack provide links to the actual photo instead of the forum

so when ppl give out links to the photo it just goes straight to the photo not the forum which can be more inconvenient

i have to agree with xlamx it would be a great feature zombo.

though it would be even better if we could build it into the reply form so you could upload photos directly into a post if you know what i mean. idk if you can though.

The only problems i see with this is bandwidth. Especially for high quality photos.
Some of the members on this board have already gone over the bandwidth restrictions for Photobucket, and those are alot larger than we would ever be able to manage.
its a cool idea, but would cost alot of money for unnecessary bandwidth usage.

Hey! But even normal free boards in HK and China has this feature! How can a UNIVERSAL board not have? But the shoutbox is a good feature I've never seen in other boards.^^

I don't see why we can't let people upload photos.
I think when rockstar set the forum up he had uploads turned off (since at the beginning, upsb had bandwidth problems), and I never bothered to turn them back on.
If zombo wants to enable uploads that's cool.
zombocom: just talk to me on msn.
