So you must use a vertical circular hand motion for cont. middle around. But for bust it would be the same as the index.

no hand movement is needed for cont middle around, only finger movement. For a mid bust it would take the same movement to do an index bust. -

When you start learning cont arounds , you will move your hand, thats just normal. It takes a lot of practize to execute them without moving your hand.

My hand naturally does cont arrounds ( I ddidn't ever have to practice) sometimes its a bad thing because the pen doesnt land in the right position I want it to.
Here are some tips.
This is a finger movement ONLY. aside from maybe the first push the rest of it is a finger movement ( mostly the finger under the finger that the pen is going around)
The "hop" seen in cont tricks accurs immediatly after the push. So for cont ring arounds. ex.
You do the first ring arround, wich amy or may not include a little hand movement.
After that it is all ring finger and pinky movement,
Right after you push off with the pinky to begin the around the pinky should go back, straight back.. making a "hook like shape" this allows the pen to continue its rotation while getting you pinky back into position, This may or may not take some practice.
There is a small unoticible delay after the first rotation around the ring finger where the pen will slip, and your pinky comes down for the push, immediately retracting for the next push.
There is no "handmovement" like in cont baks or busts. It is a quick slip which allows you to do cont.
Hope that helps...
I didn't really have a problem with cont. arrounds as my hand did that already. And of course it is the same for all fingers. -

Much obliged. now i know it's the finger doing the around that moves. i can multiple bust so it's kind of a habit for me to move my hand alot. Anyway thanks again.
