I was just browsing around youtube, and I found this... I don't personally think that it's that appealing, but I suppose it's interesting and I figured I'd share it with you guys. This spinner calls it "Lever".

Looks pretty interesting but hard to incorporate into a combo. The inverse levers IMO were a lot more appealing than the regular ones.
If someone got really good at these they could make it a stall trick, where you just balance it on your hand for as long as possible. -

Not sure if there's a better video, but what you said reminds me of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yEavLgauWPk peacock feather balancing (I remember doing this in elementary school )

it looks good and its also appealing but might not be possible with every pen because of the weight. pens with less weight will probably fall way faster than the more havier ones.
if anyone wants to prove me wrong just show me a vid. -

i actually like it. difficult to incorporate it into a smooth combo tho...
it would be awesome if you could do a lever and balance it on the back of your hand (like the peacock feather thing that JC referred to) -

Hmm..well, the peacock feather is very light, but it can be held up way longer than a pen could be held up in that same position. Dunno why that happens though =\ since I agree that pens with less weight seems like they would probably fall faster. -

I am pretty sure its the length that determines the difficulty of balancing, since you can see a little change a lot sooner you can adjust faster, and its easier to get under the center of gravity again, because there is more distance.

hmm
this trick could possibly be combined with isolation.... interesting -

Uugg.. Lol.
I end up HAVING to do this "lever" to do the rev sonic and the bak. xD -

I kinda like it. Better than the other things in his youtube.

lol, how'd you guess? -

Isn't this the same guy who made that Swivel and Reverse Swivel video?
-

I think Lindor changed the name of the "Lever" to Swing, and the "Twisted Lever" to Arc.

The Inverse Lever 12-P4 -> RingPinkyBak (?) combo was pretty slick. Somehow if he managed to do a Inverse Lever and then balance the pen perpendicularly on the palm and then start a combo, or balance the pen on the palm perpendicularly in the middle of a combo, that would be really sick.

all I can say is.... I found it before you did!!!
seriously, it's hard to incorporate it to a combo....
how about
Twisted Sonic ~ Lever?
btw, the Starting position is almost the same as the P-Rial's starting position, so I guess it's like a P-Rial Stall or something? -

i agree i think it would probably be the length that makes the difference but then again more length brings a bit more weight to most of the time. -

This maybe hard to do in a combo, but i like it!
I'll try xD -

I'm pretty sure he only named it. Although it already had a name. lol... -
Date: Sat, May 30 2009 16:16:42
yes lindor and I worked on the naming, I believe we changed it Swing or something and we also introduce the notion of a utility trick called Arc, but i don't remember so well

Hm, wasn't there a trick called the p-rial that was similar to this?

There was, but it was an aerial... the starting position is the same, but here you're supposed to just balance it on your hand... I think.
Looks a bit weird, and I'm not sure how well you can use that in a combo... -

You can do the Swing with the normal hand position too, it's the same.

I made this video. The name has been changed, as zombo said, it is now swing and arc, I'll write a description for the notation if someone need it.
I should make a new video. There is a lot of technics to do a swing, you are not forced to use a slot like "xxyy" as I made in the video, and I imagined some way to link it in a combo. But I am really busy now, i have a lot of work...
And because someone asked about it, yes, I also made the video about "swivels".
