I can't seem to do the charge with an unbalanced pencil. I'm new to penspinning, and I used a pencil with two eraser ends for the past few days. I was finally able to do a recognizable charge with it, but when I took one off, I wasn't able to do it. Does this mean I'll be forced to use balanced, baton-like pens for the rest of my penspinning days? Or can I adjust myself to use unbalanced pens?

just a matter of getting used to, for now you should learn charge with your pencil, later on you can move onto pen mods and develop your skills and style from there.
