The 301 extender!

I made this mod after seeing only 1 mod that was the style of extend, which was the Zt. I wanted to make another extendable mod so I did and here it is.

Materials list

2) zebra m-301 pen
1) zebra m-301 pencil
2) zebra telescopic
2) dong a commas
grip of choice

Spoiler:

Remove barrels of both, the pens and the pencil

1 Slide pencil barrel into both pen barrel ( do this with the side that has a bump )

2 Cut 5-6 inches of masking tape then cut it in half long ways

3 take both pieces of tape and wrap around the ends of both pen bodies

4 Take the metal needle part from the Zebra teloscopic (bottom right) and put in center of commsa cap. the press down on it with a rsvp ink til it is secure.

5 do that with both caps then put on taped sides

6 put grip on cap with a little hanging off

7 put zebra telescopic back plugs in grip

Your Done.

Handy Tips ->

you do not have to go to step seven. you can stop when ever you want. An example would be to not use the back plugs.

this is a good mod to make after making a wtiable ZT because you have left over ZT parts

Q; Why would I make this mod?
A; because you just made a ZT and loved it. Or because you want a more sturdier extending mod.

Q;Could I put a tip in the grip instead of the zt back plug?
A;Yes, I was out of tips at this time.

Not nearly as good looking as a ZT. (There you go SB7)

It seems like you made an extendable mod for the sake of having another extendable mod. Did you even consider if people wanted this first? Ask around on SOYP if they want a tut. Actually, have them ask you for one.

The metal barrels of a F/M 301 are rather hard to spin with, fyi. There is masking tape sticking out of the comssa caps. And the comssa caps are crooked, so not very stable, eh?

It looks like you made it, took it apart, and then took pictures of you rebuilding it. And the price is totally wrong. This thing is like 11 dollars, minimium.

Try using metric system next time because its more international. And the ZT back plug part is totally brilliant. A 24 cm. metal stick with ZT back plugs. A stick. Actually, a bigger stick.

1) As Hoiboy said, SOYP is there for a reason. It's for showing off mods, and if people like it they will request a tutorial.

2) If you're gonna make a mod, make it so that it looks clean. Don't have tape showing that could be covered, have the caps be on straight, etc. Don't have it look like it was just thrown together in 5 minutes.

3) Please learn to use the macro function of your camera. It's incredibly useful for close up shots.

4) Seriously man, this is your 4th tutorial. None of them have been approved. Take some time, put more work into your mods, and try making mods that have tutorials for practice. You have great enthusiasm for Pen Modding, but take some time to make your mods look amazing, and people will notice.

I think hoiboy was saying that there's nothing wrong with the tutorial, but the mod itself isn't that great.
