This thread is to register a team for a community for the World Cup '10.

You should register your team as soon as possible to guarantee that you will be considered for the World Cup. Note that, as stated in the other thread, it is a strong possibility that there will be a qualification round. Registering team therefore guarantees that your team will get a chance to participate in the qualification at least.

Here are the requirements for participating in the World Cup:

    - Be able to send a team of 6-8 spinners. The spinners must "good" enough to participate in an international tournament. Those 6-8 spinners must be able to participate in the World Cup, which will last roughly 5 months starting from January. Final roster is only decided in January 2010.
    - Be able to have a manager for the team. The manager must be able to communicate in English and have a good knowledge of the rules of the competition (has the motivation to read the rules when they are released)
    - Be able to create a collab in Fall 2009, if qualification is necessary. This is only a possibility, but you must be prepared for that. This means you need to find the editor and spinners in your community to create such a collab.
    - Be able to provide at least 2 judges for the competition. We don't know how many judges we need, but you need to provide judges too.

To register, you can either PM or e-mail me or Crash. You can also post here. Fill the following information:

    - Name of community
    - How many "good" spinners you have in your community, you can also give examples of who the top spinners in your community are. Final roster is only decided in January 2010.
    - Name of the manager and contact information (e-mail): We want you to find a manager early that we can contact before the competition start to communicate with, but this is only to prove that you have someone in your community that can fill the role of manager. Later you can change the manager if you want.

Crash and I will also actively ask communities to confirm their registration for the event. Please make sure all communities are informed about the WC10.

I want to make it clear

you do NOT need to decide the full roster for the registration.

the final roster will need to be decided a few weeks before the World Cup, which starts in 2010. That's in 6 months.

hmm if the qualifying collab is needed

the collab has to be made with WC10 participants in it? cause for KPSA we might not decide our team until end of the year
