Arghh this forum is so inactive. So, I decided to make this topic as an attempt to get some activity here. This sould be something like the Pen Spinning Journal thread, except within the team ^^
So....i made 2 new mods today, exactly the same except for the barrel color. an rsvp grip + 2 HGG tips in a G3 cap, RZDZ body, G2 grip and G3 tip in front
they spin so nice ^^ and i plan film some cool 2p2h clips when i get better with my left hand spinning
speaking of left handed spinning, i finally got these trick down with my left hand

haha i really wanted to make this topic a long time ago seeing that the last post before this was about 2 wks ago :/ i think that if this team was centered around something rather than just location i think the forum would be more active...btw do u have a pic of those mods? i cant really visualize things that well if u described it...
and congratz on mastering those tricks with your other hand! hopefully it wasnt that difficult because i no that when i tried to start spinning with my left hand (im right handed) it took me around 1 wk to get the fundamentals down tho i still have a really bad fingerpass....maybe once you learn more tricks you can try my combo 1 on ur left hand... -

was this forum ever active? i mean ive been on ecs for longer than i have on my other team (raw ecstasy) and ive seen more activity in 24 hours on that forum than on the total time ive been on this forum...its pathetic...

well understand that i understand that people do have reasons not to be on the forum / board a lot...such as me when finals rolled around i studied and didnt really get on as much...but its been 2 wks...so there should be at least SOME people that are still posting stuff...but in that 2 wks? i did consider reasons...i just think its that people just dont really care to be on the team and rnt as committed....

well you wouldn't know that unless you stepped in their shoes... stop taking it through your own perspective. it's not like our lives are dedicated to pen spinning... it's for fun but we have our priorities first.
that would be one reason and the other is that there is absolutely nothing that we can exactly do... we can organize ecs 2nd but i sure can't because i won't have that time.. this team is for anyone, it's just meant to help all the east coast psers get together. thats this teams purpose. if you want to get stuff started then you can start off here where there's some foundation laid for you already. thats the purpose of this team. you can't expect the team leaders to organize everything for you guys... -

im not saying that everyone on this board HAS to post like every single second in every single topic or even dedicate their lives to pen spinning... i prioritize school before anything but i still post sometimes even if im loaded down mainly because i dont sign up for things that i most likely cant keep commitment to...and believe me if i had the knowledge of how to set up events for ecs then i would but i dont have that knowledge...and also i personally believe that "it's [ecs] just meant to help all the east coast psers get together" is the same exact reason as to why the forum isnt active...its just based on location and its just something we have in common...its not a belief or something because thats different...

well that means you just don't know the history of ecs just as the present state of the leaders and everyone else on the team. if it's commitment you want you won't find it with pen spinning.. even as team leaders it's not easy giving your all for others who aren't willing to do the same. no offense but thats just how things went, attempts at organizing stuff failed. everything kept failing. what to do? .. we could keep trying but just give us some time, we have lives too..
the history of ECS? me and Nolan created the team. pretty much it was for ppl around pennsylvania and new york areas to hang out. but then tons of other ppl come out of nowhere.. we didn't really think too far about the other east coast members. sadly enough we never bothered having a mission statement for the team thus our team being inactive as it is. but what can we do as a east coast team? there's a lot of potential no? we just need some ppl who are willing to step up and just kick off something.
for those who will be taking a step forward for the team, good luck! i'll give my support 100% but give me some inspiration

ECS = East Coast Spinners
The MAIN purpose of this team is just to identify the people in UPSB who live in the East Coast of the US/Canada. Besides that, there really isn't any other purpose for this team. Based on JUST the name and description of this team, the only threads that would be necessary are threads that are gathering/meeting related and a team collab thread. Being on the ECS team doesn't show your skill or appreciation of pen spinning like other teams such as Raw Ecstacy or Demon Origins. Being on this team just shows that you live on the East Coast, nothing else. Threads such as these are created because the members WANT to create them. We WANT this team to be active, but we don't have to. If this team becomes dead for a whole year, that shouldn't really be a problem, because there should have been nothing alive in the first place. -
