    ME!

    Hi ^^.

My name is Yoobin Kim, (you know, like that one girl from Wondergirls), I'm 21 and I live in Korea. I'm not particularly new to PenSpinning, but I am very, VERY new at practicing it. I moved back to Korea for the first time in 16 years and I suddenly felt the urge to actually start trying out new tricks instead of repeating the few fundamental tricks I know.

I think my subconscious was too lazy to go beyond fundamental tricks because well, every foreign country I lived in considered a charge or thumbspin to be very special and unique. "Crazy asians. Human fingers aren't meant to be able to do that!" they would say, and I would smile with pride. Since I moved back to Korea, I noticed that every person and their DOG could do fundamental tricks. I'm telling you, when you see an old lady out-charge you, you'd feel noob too. Feeling the need to be special and unique (read: attention whore), I decided to step up the game =D.

Until just this morning, the only object I had to spin with were different kinds of completely unmodded mechanical pens. I bought some new pens yesterday and they were delivered to me just now and guess what I bought...

    and

"Silly noob! Why would you buy such horrid pens? Why didn't you do your research and just start out with normal RSVP MX's like everyone else?" you ask. To which I answer "I thought they looked pretty and... uhh... they were a lot cheaper in the Korean store! I mean, they can't be THAT bad, right? ...Right?"

Anyhoo, meanwhile writing this unnecessarily long intro, I've learned Infinity =D (albeit, a bit rusty) and thinking of moving on to all the reverse versions of the fundamental tricks.

So uhh, I hope we can get along ^^ <3

    welcome
seeing as you wrote such a long intro, i'm guessing ur quite commited
    seems like a nice pen

    2 things:
firstly, no one is that newb-hating as you said (maybe frip and clyde)
second, usually, advice is to get a light pen to start, but seeing as you know some stuff, ur mod is probably alright 4 u

anyway, how does that mod feel (going off topic now)
and what is it made of?
wait, wait wait.... it glows in the dark?????

    Hi k-ryder ^^.

Yeah I figured people here would be all friendly, sunshine and rainbows etc. I was just kidding =P.
I got myself a heavy pen on purpose, since I figured I can do tricks just a tad bit slower (since it has more momentum) and I like to learn things slowly XD.

The mod feels... very long XD. It's my first pen that's as long as it is and I'm not used to it yet. There's a couple of strips of glow in the dark material wrapped around the uhh... the tube? You know, the tube that holds the ink. Sorry, not yet familiar with all the jargon/technical terms.

    I LOVE IT <3

be careful with heavy(er) mods, since if you want to "downgrade" to a lighter one, it could get tricky
maybe try learning things with the lsh mx (need to find more info on that...) and try spinning ur other mods in between

and the tube is called the body smile.gif
