Team Dump / Lineup strategies

    First of all,

To me there should not be any designed "substitute" or "starter" role inside the team. The right people will play at the right time. In fact, I will almost guarantee that EVERY member of this team will get to play at least ONCE in the tournament.

The reasoning is simple: when you're not playing in a round, simply think that this is to give you more time to film a very good video, so that you can use it the round after. Substitutes should always be trying to film something good.

The rounds where the lineup is most likely to change are during the first 2 rounds.

If after the first round, we hold comfortable lead after 4 matches, then I might play other spinners for the 4 other matches to complete the group stage (and be sure to finish in the top 2 of the group). For the semi-finals and finals however we will be forced to always play the best players available, because those matches are most important.

Now during the group stage, the matches are all single 1vs1 against some other spinner of another team in our group. Because of that I might use people which I think excel in 1vs1.

There are also some people which I think would work well together in doubles.

I see some chemistry with Toast x Scott, or Toast x Vicgotgame (not sure about Scott x Vic). I can't see however, Eriror or TNC playing doubles because we need them in single matches, and I think DaThroat's style is difficult to use in a double match, so I would rather put him in a single match, probably during the group stage.

When are we confirming who is in for the 1st round?

Because if I'm in I will have to increase my spinning time and spend less time on Cards, whereas if I'm only in for other rounds, I can relax a little... sort of..

yeah I'm sure all of us have to plan. laugh.gif

it depends on the group composition,

but I think toast said that he was gonna be busy during the first round.

Group Composition? isn't it always 4 out of 6 members participating?

Heck, i'll just train hard for this 1st round anyway. We choose who is substitute and who is not after we finalize our combos right?

That way you pick the 'best' out of the 6 combos received?

group composition meaning the composition of the pools, which teams we are fighting against.

no, we choose the lineup before filming the combo.

and a substitute can't replace someone unless you have a good reason (the other person can't do it). you can't replace someone else just because your video is better. that's a lame tactic cuz if you do that, you can basically match the spinner you like against after knowing the other team's lineup. also crash can refuse substitutions if we don't have a good reason.
