Hey guys ive been searching and searching but cant seem to find a thread on metal tips.

A lot of ppl i see use signo and HGG's and Dr for Dr.kt's but i was wonderin if there are any other metal tips then spinners use because ive seen some pretty decent metal tips that are quite heavy and useful pen spinning like the twist eraser pen those are about the same as Dr and look the exact same. So i was just wonderin if anybody can help me name some of the substitute metal tips spinners use if they dont have the hgg and or signo's

G2 EX tips can be a sort of substitute for Dr Grip Tips.

another tip which can be used is some cheap Greenleaf ballpoint pen. it doesn't add that much weight, but each one costs about SG45 cents which converts to about 30 cents US.

You should look a bit harder.

    HGG tip substitute

    HGG, Signo tip replacement

    Which Singo tip?

Papermate Aspire = Dr. Grip sub

If those threads don't have what you want, then ask about more alternatives in those threads. Since different tips can be quite different, it makes sense to have seperate threads with various-sized tips.

Theres a mechanical pencil called the "Gripmatic" Its a pacer by Faber Castell and its really good...Grip is stretchy and grippy, and the tip is really heavy. The tips are probably about 1 3/4 the weight of a signo.. heres a pic

I have one of those pencils. The tip is heavy, but I don't really like the grip. It doesn't seem as stretchy as Profile grips, and it's really thin.

It is possible that mine is fake though, I got it in China, lol.

So i made my usual little trip to target today to pick up a pack of rsvp's (black) and a pack of sunburst metallics which the target i live by carries. So anyways i noticed they have alot of different Dr. Grip type pens and was wondering if any of the tips on those pens are decent in weight, like similar to the pencil version or whatever? i picked up the little pack it was in but idk can't really tell how the tip alone is.

I figured out that the Pentel Milky Gel Roller pen has the exact same metal tip as an HGG and has an exact same ink tube as a Pentel Sunburst
