Hi, I'd just like to ask what is considered as a pen mod? Is a pen with caps on both sides, grips and tips along with blue tack considered as a mod?

ps. This is my first time posting, sry if this has been written some where >.<

Probably the wrong place to post this but a pen mod is really whatever you want it to be. Whether or not it is considered a mod or a good mod by the rest of the psing community is another story. But you are on the right track double sided, tips, grips and all the correct things to mention when dealing with mods. Try posting some pictures in show off you pens and I'm sure people will give you some feedback good or bad=p good luck~

Usually pen mods are quite lengthy and usually heavier than regular pens...

any pen that has been modified.

I consider a pen that has anything done to it so you can't buy it factory sealed like that to be a pen mod.

An exact definition is pretty difficult to come up with on the spot..

I disagree on a pen mod being a pen that you have altered in any way. For instance, adding a grip to a pen and putting the cap on the back would not be considered a "mod" in my book. Probably in Kam's way back in the day when he had the only pen mods, but not in today's standards.

I think yours would be considered a legit mod, as it about the same as a BICtory (writable or not, I don't know).

anything. it can be writable, nonwritable, gripped, nongripped, double capped, single capped, metaltipped, nonmetaltipped, you get the picture.
my first mod was a double sided RSVP. it sucked horribly happy.gif but that was still a mod.
generally, a good mod has decent momentum, which you can get from grips/tips/caps, and good length (the shortest mod i like is g3mx, 17 cm long).
