Philosophy / Do you spin obbsesively or casually?

obbsesively being 2 hours and up in a big chunk

    My personal goal is at least an hour a day of practice. Doesn't always happen though.

    I don't know if it's "obsessive", but since I never have anything to do at school, and I'm always spinning while doing work and while relaxing, I'd say that I spin at least 4-5 hours a day. I guess that's obsessive biggrin.gif

    No I don't pen spinning for a continous 2 hours but instead I would do a short combo and then I just continue what I'm doing.

    I wouldn't say obsessive, but not casually either. I'm constantly trying to learn more tricks and combos, but I don't give up valuable time for spinning. Something like.. CasuallyObsessive <-- wahbam! Coined

    Same here. I don't spin obsessively at home, but I spin for at least 2 hours total out of a 7 hour school day. Four out of my seven classes are mostly lectures, so I could theoretically spin the whole class away (Although, I don't spin a lot in Physics out of respect for the teacher).

    I just spin when im near a pen (preferably a mod tongue.gif )

    So i guess its kinda obsessive but im not constantly like really 100% concentrated if you get me.

    Hmm

    I've thought about this before. I guess people would call me obsessive at this, but not to the point where they would notice it if I didn't ask them. Well, some of the people I hang around with a lot might. For instance, there's a guy at my school who got me into pen spinning, and now it's like a very large part of my life, much more for me than for him, so he's like "Dude you're obsessed".

    I spin all the time at home, and almost all the time at school (sometimes I forget and attract unwanted attention by bringing a comssa or a buster or any other double sided mod dry.gif) but a lot of teachers have paused in the middle of a lecture just to point out my pen spinning (they usually call it twirling huh.gif).

    But I mod a lot more obsessively than I spin. Which is a shame, because modding costs money. I get tired of my pens too quickly, so I feel the urge to mod all the time...I always run out of pens sad.gif

    Oh, and I forgot. I'm not obsessed to the point where I bring my pens with me in events outside of school and home. Lol that would be so lame

    And... I've been spinning more lately. Half an hour of practice commonly and sometimes even an hour of practice. I don't spin in class but I do sometimes spin while on the computer (somewhat).

    I spin 2-3 hours a day but don't get better. This is because I olnly spin casually and don't spend any time doing "real" practice. Its been a month or so since I've learned a new trick.

    I think I spin casually but I guess its obsessive. Compared to other spinners its pretty little, I don't devote time everyday to practice and learn but I spin everywhere I go.

    I don't spin obsessively. Just because I find myself with a pen spinning in my hand an don't know how it got there. Just because I never don't have a pen on me doesn't make me obsessed. I could stop any time if I really wanted to, I just don't want to. I don't have a problem, it's all completely under my control java script:add_smilie(":wacko:","smid_18")

    5 hours at school, then 5 hours at home, yeah obsessively. It gets in the way of school work, but not school. I do take breaks every once in a while though.

    I use to spin casually. I just did it naturally i guess... about 2 weeks ago.......

    Now i am DefinitelyOBSESSED thanks to this forum... I learned 7 new tricks in 5 days ..... and perfected them (except the hybrid I'm practising nw... Devil's spin tongue.gif ) That equals about.....

    3~5 hoursin school... blink.gif
    3~4 hoursin extra classes blink.gif
    1~2 hourstuition blink.gif
    2~3 hoursat home... wacko.gif
    and 4~5 hoursat Saturday tuition wacko.gif

    (It's a good thing to make friends with fellow spinners and show off new tricks to your friends, but is it good if your teacher threw half of the content your pencil box away for spinning pens unconsciously? bangHead.gif she threw away 6 pens that day... worth RM30.. (about 10$) cry.gif out of the window from the third floor..... ) huh.gif

    well when i learned the TA and reverse TA, i spun casually, maybe 5 minutes straight of just TA's/rev. Once i learned the twisted sonic, it was like i had an epiphany. I just wanted to learn more and more. It's been about a month since i learned the twisted sonic, and i probably spin 8 hours a day (most during school, then some at home/with friends). So now I'm obsessive, but it's worth it because during school everyone is like - NO WAY! THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE. TEACH ME!. Then i try teaching them and they just quit after failing on their first try.
