Just to bring this to those who might be interested. Round 3 submissions have been submitted. Results will be out in one week
Round 3
Theme : Invented mod, never created before ( free modding )
Details : You can absolutely do the mod you want. The only rule is that this mod mustn’t already exists. Avoid doing a fake “X Mod†and try to be the most creative as possible. Good luck.
A video is optional.

cobra was sick but the Fusion mod was the best i thought. aesthetically pretty awesome.

Namik 2: Very cool, i like the look of it but it seems as if its just another Buster except lighter. But i really like the adjustable length and Spring Resistance Feature on the pen. Nothing special but its a nice pen overall.
The Magnet: Very nice. The appeal quality of the pen is nice. I also like the way you can change the weight. The cuts and insert is nice. I also like the classic look of a single sided mod it has. Cool look overall and love the features.. if only it wrote.
Fusion: WHOA! Very cool pen. I can tell that this pen took many hours of work. I LOVE the cuts and inserts and stuff. The insert is amazing and i love the overall look. I love the writing capability and the color scheme and theme. It is one of the bests pens this round IMO.
Linae: Nothing special. Classical Double sided look which is nice. I like the string mechanism but im not sure many people spin with the strings. Nice look and colors, nothing special though.
Cobra: DANG! This mod has to be the coolest one this round. I love the flexibilty of the pen and how it can write. Nice look and theme. I like the cuts too, very nice. The only problem i have with this one is the actually spinning capability. With the segments separated with grips, does it have an awkward feeling when spinning? I would have like a video of this pen though. Cool pen
2409: IMO i hate this mod. Its got a bulky look and a color scheme i hate. The spinning room looks very small too. But i also like the pen, its creativity is superb and the cuts are nice. 23 cm is kind of long too. Although it looks nice, i think its just a big stick...
REMEMBER: These are only my opinions. Please do not flame me harshly. We can argue over the pens but dont turn this topic into a full blown argument.

Congratz everyone! It was a pleasure to take part in this tournament. I could've focused more on the looks than functionaity, since as it's seen the looks are always more looked on than new ideas. Too bad... Congratz Neptune!
Now, I will have time to work a bit on my Linae Concept, since I believe in its potential.
@down: What I meant was that you can get a lot of points due to aesthetics; just like I did last round. I will try to work on The linae. Nevertheless, the tournament was still good; good luck in the next round. ;d -

Skeleton...Neptune's aesthetics are something else man. Like wow. I do want to see how the string works in spinning, video later maybe?

This was a really close round imo. I think each mod has its own unique characteristic.
The Magnet vs. Namik 2 - good battle. I think Namik was more complex in terms of the mechanism, but lacked better aesthetic. The Magnet's weight concept is not as innovative, but I liked how it uses magnets to keep the weights from rattling. The Magnet's aesthetic appeal is much higher though, so it could have gone either way.
Fusion Mod vs The Linae Mod - Neptune's mod is always amazingly complex and great looking. The fill grip cut and transparent outsert are cool and open up many design possibilities. The Linae's string concept is pretty cool. It opens up possibilities for new tricks and combos. I think if the aesthetics were improved, this would be a close battle.
Cobra vs 2409 - This was my toughest battle. I had no idea what to expect from densen77, so I tried my best to come up with a new idea, and hope it would be enough to beat him. To be honest, I was not sure what the results would be. I think both had new concepts, and both are good looking (although I admit, 2409 is so clean and professional looking compared to Cobra).
Anyways, I knew I wouldn't be happy with whoever wins...because while I still have new ideas for new mods, I also want to see more mods from densen. So, part of me is happy that I won, and part of me is sad that densen lost :/
But...very good job densen. Only 1.5 pts difference, and many of the judges preferred your mod over mine. So I personally see this as a tie ^^
PS: Many people seem to think the Cobra is not spinnable, so I'm going to try to make a video when I get some time. I did not have time to make a video before the deadline. -

first of all, congratulations to Neptune, iMatt and Kam!
it was a great pleasure for me to challenge with you!
i was quite sure, that Kam's mod will beat me in this round, but i didn't believe, that it would be that tight^^
so, thanks a lot for the nice words unfortunately, i won't get a revenge with you, i can't participate in the PMWT next year, bcause of my studies.
however, of course you will see some more mods from me beyond the tournament ;-)
thanks to Near & Co. for the organisation, i had a lot of fun in this tournament!
special thanks to my friend Kevn, who supported me on each round with fabulous inlays and did the presentation of the pictures, THX A LOT!

Well, even though I don't really like how your mod looks, iMatt, the idea of dynamic momentum was great ^^ Spinning this kind of pen has to feel very weird To be honest I'm sure you could do much better with the look, but there's no harm in losing with someone better at all ^^
For The Magnet my plan was to make the mod cheap, easy to make and easy to use. My mod is good for both newcomers and experienced spunners - I think the concept of adjustable weight is nice way to make a pen that everyone would like to have, and it was my target in this round Well, if you have The Magnet - it's like you have 5 regular mods For many spinners this mod can replace the whole collection.
So that I wanted the pen to be easy to make for unexperienced modders I gave up inventing any complex mechanisms... And this was probably the reason I've lost
Anyways I've done my best and I'm glad I've passed to 3rd round

I have to admit this was a very nice round of pens. Great thing was each of the battles had pens with totally different concepts that made it more interesting. All in all don't think there are any losers in this round ^^
