sick of spending 10$ each for multipens?

    Any multi-pen with a mp is a substitute.
    I think that the diaso one is pretty much the cheapest, unless you wanted to buy bulk.

    At my old school, there were pens called "Switchmasters", which are multipens with the MP component. They were around 1.40 each.

    Upon further investigation, I found them:

    13.55 for 24, so it's around 56 cents per pen.

    I already tested the multipen component, and it works.

    Actually guys, i have found that very cheap mechanical, not multipens but very cheap mechanical pencils sometimes use this mech as well, for what, 5 cents a pop?...

    These are usuallly very high bulk orders though, aka 1000 pencils for 5c each or wtvr so you'd still end up paying a lo, just saying check those offbrand mechs cuz sometiems thats what they are ;].

    But on the other hand, the lead tube is very short, so you would have to get an extra long tube.
    Meh, I don't really like MPMX v3, even though it's easy to make, I think Dory's method is the best...
