Nice. I have class with a M40A3 with an ACOG scope for quick scoping and a another with a Barret for longer distances.
Same perks except for the last one, I have steady aim on the M40A3 and iron lungs on the Barret. -

Yeah just got it Saturday, played for 3 hours by now.. Like the game, it's so different compared to Halo though, took some time to get used to it. My gamertag is Eriror, add me if you want to play a game sometime. Might not always be on playing the game though, I've been playing Tales of Vesperia a lot too, lately.

Quick scoping is not just scoping in fast and shooting. It also involves dragscoping, which is when you're aiming to one side of your target, and as you are scoping in, you move to that target.
High sensitivity is also fun for 360s.

Bad setup.
If you have an M16, you shouldn't be rushing - you don't need marathon. Try Bling or Sleight of Hand as your first perk. Cold Blooded is just stupid, Stopping Power is what I use.
Ninja pro is a good choice because a lot of people have headsets that can hear footsteps. -

I usually use a combo of holographic + noobtube, or holographic+ silencer.
For marathon pro, pick up a Vector and your fucking golden. -

problem is that the vest doesnt hurt you or make you uncomfortable, all it does is push a spot on your body

idk if its just me, but i SUCK with intervention, its just so inaccurate to me. whenever i use 50 cal, i can quickscope fine, 1 shot 1 kill, but not with intervention, the crosshair seems like to jump to the side right as im about to shoot. anyone else notice this? =/

For the assault rifle class, I really would use a FAMAS with Stopping Power Pro. One good burst and your opponent is down, and it has sick acuracy.

I never got suspended for perk glitching in COD4, I won't get suspended for this.
BTW, if you use RPGs for the glitch, they float in mid air for a little then explode.

meh... there really isn't a standard for quick scoping. could be, although that is a bit slow
just play a bunch on campaign with a sniper rifle. when you quick scope, the scope is only a final check. get as close to the target as possible, and only use the scope for minor adjustments. -

Not really
the only reason you scope is so the bullet will go in the middle of your screen, the target should already be there.
No scoping is random and is never the same, so you have to scope if you want to direct the bullet anywhere, even if you're just lifting up the gun and not even looking through the scope really. -

neh, you gotta be fast for quick scoping. the only real practice you can get on quick scoping is using a sniper on every game, even on the small maps. im not good at it or anything, but put your reticule on the target and as you scope in, move your RS towards the target. thats the basic principle, but it comes with lots and lots of practice. im sure nate spent a lot of time practicing his quick scopes, and its why he does them so well now. oh and make sure to bump your sensitivity, i try to use 5 or 6, sometimes 7 when sniping. but yea, im not great at it; in fact, when i quick scope someone i think i just got lucky
and 1.5 seconds then shooting is not quick scoping, its more like, scope in - shoot - scope out in less than half a second
oh and i mastered the intervention and acr now and my K/D is rising 
but i still havent gotten a nuke, and dont plan to try for one until i get better

Try to scope in and shoot, even if you're off target. Being a sniper means you need to be exposed for as little time as possible. Don't be scared to shoot and miss, then dance around a little bit before popping out from behind cover to try again.
But yeah, 1.5 seconds is a long time to be looking through your scope for. Keep practicing! -

i dont have them, but from what ive heard, they really help, you just get used to them after a bit. so after you get used to them, your close range quick scoping will be fine =D -

I shot a guy in the shoulder with an intervention and the dude didn't die. So I shoot him again. Another hit marker, but still alive. Then he killed me, so I figured he had painkiller on. He didn't, the shots barely damaged him -.- Bullshit, total bullshit. But then later today, I got 5 collaterals and a couple of funny no scopes. I guess I'm either lucky or super unlucky. And I got my Fall camo for my Intervention, I'm so happy 
Yea, as you can tell, I really like this game. But I still suck at it, have yet to get a nuke xD

IMO hardcore is more realistic of a game type. Hypothetically speaking of course if there were a person patrolling looking for people to kill it would take 2 or 3 bullets max to kill them. Sometimes even 1 bullet will kill a person. Thats how hardcore is and thats why I like to play it. When I shoot something, it should die. End of Story. Bullet Hit = Death. Haha ohayo, if you have an ACR, it's best to use sleight of hand or scavenger; you shouldn't be rushing and gunning with an ACR, since its so accurate. You can kinda lay back and pick people off from a distance. Just my opinion

Why do you have FMJ on your Intervention if you're already using Stopping Power?
Akimbo on the M9's is iffy for me, I would use the USP (because it's awesome
)
Instead of Semtex, I would use Claymores, since I camp when I snipe, and Scavenger Pro for me, so I can pick up more claymores.
As for your other setups, I don't know, since I don't use those weapons yet. -

Ahahaha mike, what he's trying to say is if you use the reg scope, you might as well put some sort of attachment on it. And for the FMJ thing, it only adds extra damage in bullet penetration, not overall. But just to raise your chances of getting a OHK with the intervention, FMJ + stopping power

The thing about the BlackMagic is the files are huge because they are uncompressed. You also need good RAM to run it. HD PVR, however, compresses its files and is generally more user-friendly.
If you are using a standard definition TV, and you plan to be on it for a while, go with the Dazzle Platinum. The other dazzles (Plus and Premium) really suck. -

I have the lower-level dazzle, works fine. the only problem is if you want to play on tv and record to computer, you ahve to be able to split the video signal somehow, which usually degrades quality to both. so if you have a fast comp that you can trust to play on w/o lag then it's fine

cod4 had the map advantage. the maps were BRILLIANTLY designed. not a single object or building without a tactical purpose. mw2 the maps seem just sloppily tossed together, the game suffers because of it.
mw2 has much better graphics, and i like how everything else is upgraded, but the maps just suck a big one D:
codwaw had equally good maps imho, but vehicles absolutely ruined the game.
zombie mode was trivial for me, kinda a fun one-time thing, but got boring/annoying after 15 minutes -

OK, all the care package glitchers ruined this fucking game. Every lobby I go into, there are at least 4 people doing it. It takes no skill. Get 4 kills, and spam, care packages. Seriously, they need to exploit the game to get kills? Pathetic. I hope IW patches this shit, it's out of control. Archer, that's what I call quickscoping. Some people say it's not quickscoping if you can even see through the scope (just bring it up and right as it hits the eye pull the trigger), but I just call that dumb lol.

vector with stopping power vs UMP with stopping power, i'd say that the vector is better, at least from what I experienced. I kinda used the UMP and P90 for my non prestige and first prestige, and i used the vector for my second and current prestige. I dunno, but I think I prefer the UMP, just cuz it seems like it has more range

lately, iv been resorting to playing demolition, search and destroy, and HQ because every other mode has a shitload of campers. in SnD and demolition, its kinda interesting how either 1. ppl patrol rather than camp. or 2. theyr in obvious camping spots. and seeing how i get impatient staying in a genral area the whole match, easily getting picked off by campers, i like these modes. i was really hoping bfbc2 would hopefully be a good gb game, but unfortunately, it has big maps. i dont get whats with games these days and big maps. it just causes more camping. killzone 2 would really be my fav game, and a great gb game if the maps werent so ridiculously big. bigger than mw2 maps o.o

OK, I'm just about sick of this fucking game. It's fun when nobody is cheating it, but that's never the case. Only like, 1/20 lobbies I go into aren't using the care package glitch or shit like that. Avoid playing on the weekends, it's when all the little kids and retards are glitching and ruining this game. The only good games I can get are during the weekdays before 3 pm, cuz at that time, glitchers and cheaters flood the game. Hmm, I wonder why? I'm gonna rant about shit.
Care package glitching, seriously? Do you REALLY SUCK THAT MUCH if you need to exploit the game to get killstreak rewards? And it pisses me off when they're on my team too; if you win a TDM with a glitcher on your team, you feel kinda bad about winning. I swear to god, this better get patched soon. Like, if my team is glitching, the other team is just whipping out stingers and shooting them all down, and when I earn a legit, LEGIT, AC130, it's shot down in 5 seconds. Wouldn't happen if my team was fucking gitching. It's so bad, CoD4 looks really good right now, and I've never played it.
Also, commando. It's another game breaking perk. You can lunge 20 fucking feet with it, and while you're lunging you're invincible. Especially Marathon, Lightweight and Commando people, that's just not right. You need a one hit kill weapon, and you're going so fast it's hard to hit you, and when the other guy tries to knife you, you blow through as if you're Mario with the Invincible Star and shank him. It's really pissing. IW should remove commando; it's just another perk dumbasses are taking advantage of.
AND GET RID OF THE TACTICAL INSERTIONS. Even in TDM, there are nuke boosters. Like, sure, I enjoy finding them and shitting on their chests, but when they succeed, it's not fun. In fact, I wouldn't care if they got rid of the nuke altogether; all it prompts is cheating, since everyone is so bent on getting one. Like, if IW removed tactical insertions, nuke boosting will be less of a problem.
OK, I think I'm done. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna get Mass Effect 2 and CoD4.

Those are two videos recorded in sniper lobbies. It's extremely obvious. They're notorious for having set-up shots and faked killstreaks.
Around June of last year, sniper lobbies became really frowned upon. If you don't get laughed at for playing them at least once, I'd be surprised. That is all.
One more thing, if you see me playing in a private match will a bunch of snipers, it's a warm-up match, not a sniper lobby. -

I don't think the Halo community is all that bad at all. The game is well designed, the only people I can see having a problem with it are haters or people who just suck at it haha. I, for one, suck at Halo. If you have the money Boshi, go ahead.
But back to MW2. I just found out about demolition haha. YOu can get some crazyyy exp from one game. I think I had a game where the match bonus was close to 11000 haha. But if you don't have people who play the objective or dont play it yourself, you're gonna lose, and thats no fun D: But yea, when I play to have fun, it's ground war or merc TDM. On a competitive level, even if your scope comes up and they can see the dude through the scope on the killcam, they'll call it a hardscope. I think. But like, I'm not a competitive GB player or anything, but that's how I see it. But on a recreational level, I'd call what you did a quickscope; the others were probably just saying that cuz they don't like losing and will find anything to call you unskilled. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Like, Nate can probably tell you about quickscoping on a competitive level, since he's on a team and yea.

Personally I hate the Halo gameplay, with MW2, the weapons don't effect you nearly as much as in Halo, although the Halo online expierience is quite good.
I wish that the Campaign was as good as it was in the previous games, it seems that Campaign is pretty much played, well never. -

Is it just me, or does the ACOG on the intervention seem to decrease damage? Like, I just prestiged and wanna master the Intervention first, and when I used the ACOG, i seriously got like, 7 hitmarkers in one game and went 2-10. Then I was like, screw it, changed to a class with reg scope, and didn't get a single hitmarker after. I went something like, 12-18 in the end. Rawr, pisses me off.

theres a converter that you can get online.
however, if you are buying an xbox, i suggest you play with the actual xbox controller.
the fact is, the controller is made ergonomically, and fits everyones hands perfectly, the analog placement is to reflect these ergonomics
the only reason your hands would be cramping is because you are holding the controller incorrectly.
Give the controller a chance, it is currently the most advanced gaming controller available, undoubtably. -

My opinion for most efficient killing with a sniper:
Quickscoping - short - medium range
Drag scoping - medium range
Hardscoping - long range
And with steady aim on, no scoping for short range if you're feeling lucky

Afghan - I dont really know a good spot to spawn snipe except maybe on the offense side, run straight and look down towards the bunker window. Usually someone stops there. Or shoot the barrel in the bunker and usually you'll get a kill.
Derail - on defense side, i usually go to the far right and look through the slit in the fence until you see someone running on the outside of the map towards B? ( it might be A) Thats all i know for that map. =/
Estate - On defense side, I run to the front of the house and hop up on the rail and look down towards the right side of building ( the one the snipers always go up the ladder to snipe). Usually a couple of people go up that path to B, so you can pick off at least one.
Invasion - Offense side, right when you start go straight towards the tank and look down toward their spawn. Defense, go straight and jump up onto the very top of the pillar looking thing. I wouldnt do that if you started to round late tho.
Quarry - Pretty simple, on offense go left and to the ledge on the right and look down towards their spawn. Or you can go more left and on the edge of the path going up and look at the same area. ( people dont usually look their). Defense, just go straight and look at the ledge.
Rundown - Offense, run left and stop at the tree, look down towards the far back building at their spawn or go right and left towards the fence and look down towards the stair path at their spawn. Offense, i go by the truck to the right and look down towards their spawn or go straight towards the stairs and look towards the fence.
Scrapyard - Defense, go up the stairs to the right and look at their spawn. Offense, look towards the window where they would spawn snipe or go right and look down towards the door of the building at their spawn.
Skidrow - Defense, go right and look down the hallway where the car/construction vehicle is. Offense, go to that vehicle and look down the hallway.
Subbase - Offense, go to the middle hangar place but go through the little side building and look down the middle of the map towards their spawn.
Terminal - Offense, go straight towards the magazine area and go behind the far right computer. Look down towards the stairs. Defense, go straight and up the stairs, then look down the magazine area.
Underpass - dont play this map enough to know.
Wasteland - Dont really know if theres any good spots.
Its hard to explain exactly where to go but just try to follow what i said here and youll get what i mean when your playing.

You just need to get used to it that's all. What makes the difference in your skill is that in CS, you can't aim down your sights, so most weapons are closely accurate to each other but in MW2, aiming down your sights definitely makes a difference, spraying in MW2 will only make you miss alot and get you killed. So all you need is to be quick into adding that one extra step into aiming at someone and you should be good to go (unless you're using Akimbo G18s with Steady Aim) XD.
Also I think the maps are quite colorful (compared to Call of Duty: World at War and CoD4: MW) and distinguishing people is quite easy (Partly from my HD Screen XD). You just need to see more pixel movement because most of the time it's actually someone. -

Right now on Machinima Respawn, they're holding the Frag Cup, this competitive tournament. Optic is a part of it, and in their 2nd match, they got DQ'd lol. DTreats had a hacked account; he had Hardline in place of equipment and a gold Deagle lol. Dunno how Hardline would affect a match where killstreaks are turned but neh, it's the rules haha. Not sure if any of the other members also had this, but Optic is out. Sucks for them. Although I gotta say, DTreats is pretty nasty with that sniper rifle. Another team also got DQ'd for having a hacked account lol. Hacking this game is outta control xD -

Hardcore you can wait for people to come around and fire 1 shot from a deagle and kill the dude. Thats super easy. Try firing like ten shots in the guy and have him turn around with a spas and blow your face off.

Go to the Museum in campaign mode.
Pick up an Intervention or Barret 0.50 cal
Kill off every person in any of the two rooms with people except for a few you want to practice quickscoping on. Press the button and go maniac. -

as far as your question, ideally quickscoping is more effective because you can "aim" faster when not scoped in, so you can center them on your screen and quicksope before you could scope in and aim at them. but, you're more likely to miss also, unless you're vic O.o -

Pretty much all I do is snipe, and personly I consider drag scoping and quick scoping to be kind of the same thing. When I snipe I don't try to do one or the other I'll drag it over them if I need to, and I won't if i don't need to -

I found that on TDM on skidrow, if you spawn as spetznaz (idc about how its spelled), i found a route that can easily be a triple or quad collateral, if they run down the river side. i saw like, 4 of them, almost lined up perfectly, but i panicked since my name is kaku and i only managed to get one guy -.- but still, wicked route.

I've been going like 40+ kills and less than ten deaths in a lot of games
Yesterday I completed like 5-7 challenges with one ATS shot which resulted with a total of 11750 XP worth of challenges complete lol
Just now I went 47-9, called in three Predators, 2 Harriers, and 2 Chopper Gunners. Grand total of 24424 XP for that match -

No, the quickscopers will quickscope, the dragscopers will dragscope, and the hardscopers will hardscope
if you limit it to ONLY one of those then less people will be able to play, because they'll be forced to play outside of their style. so why not just say sniping only and however you want to do it is ok -

Anyone can hardscope and camp. We are trying to have fun. Plus we are giving the people who are learning to quickscope more experience -

Why do people use Intervention for quickscoping?
Do people ever use a 50 Cal?
I understand why a M21 or WA2000 wouldn't work, but hwy not a 50 Cal? -

cuz bolt action takes "skill"? idk its just what everyone does. for some reason, i cant use a 50 cal =/ so i just use intervention. but honestly, m40a3 or gtfo

I think it's just cuz it's a bolt action, which makes it 'harder' to use and therefore, if you use it, you are skilled. =\
But it does seem to force you to have better accuracy, cuz if you're caught in a sticky situation (lol) you have to kill the guy with one shot, since if you miss, you gotta cock it (lolx2). And if you don't hit that shot, you're fucked (lolx3). IDK, just how I feel. In terms of stats, the 50 cal and the Intervention are exactly the same, cept for the bolt action/semi auto part. But IDK, I have completed all prestige challenges for the INtervention, finished them at about prestige 3 or 4 lol, and I'm not even halfway done the Barrett. Personal preference, I guess.
