Finally got a reply from the case guy. Kam's Logo has been machined! and production should start soon still not sure when they will actually arrive maybe by end of year.
Here is some additional information:
*All colors will be available black, white, pink, skyblue (maybe a few other colors) but we will stock mostly white and black.
*These will be customized so that some will have the typical rubber band on one side and pocket on the other and some will have the bands on both sides for maximum mod "holdage"
*So far the only model we are making is the long one which is the only one that can house the longer mods.
*The material will be the typical material used in current cases
Here is the question for you all. A lot of cases such as pds cases have the indentation as in when you feel it the logo actually indents into the material but if leaves some spots not fully filled with ink. Do you prefer the indentation or just normal smooth feel? Also I will be able to have logo in various colors so I was thinking maybe just to a large portion of the cases in normal text and a handfull in colorful text just to try out and see the reaction. Will update when there's something new.
Yeah process to get this started is a bit slow and painful so please be patient^^ should have it in a few months hopefully less~ -

As for the indentation thing - I dont really mind as I never felt a pds case. But the bit about some ink missing sounds bad.?
And do you know rough prices for the cases?

if I'm not mistaken, this kind of indentation is usually done to prevent the ink from wearing off. If there was no indentation, the logo's ink would be rubbing against other surfaces and fade out sooner?
Well, leaving some spots without ink sucks, so I say go without indentation. That also gives people the option to erase the logo if, god forbid, they want to do so xD -

I'd go with indented; since people who buy a UPSB pencase probably wants one, well, for UPSB.
The indentations would make the ink last longer. -

Just go with the indentation, if there should really be a blank spot, you can go over it in sharpie once or twice..no difference

So it has been decided that it will have bands only this first run. So bands on both sides. There will be 5 different color combinations. White with black letters, Black with silver letters, red with black letters, skyblue with black letters . Indentation was included as well since it seems that's what was desired.

It's going to be a different textured black a bit smoother instead of rougher. more glossy.

White case with green logo kinda remidns me of that mind chewing gum they sell in malaysia. -

Getting a lot of questions regarding the shiny black case. It is smooth but not slippery. It is probably more prone to dust and other artifacts due to it's color but has a nice solid feel and look.

update on cases. 2 of the cases packages are stuck at customs still and they are still holding onto it and haven't gotten back to me. hopefully i will get those soon~
