i have a HELLA poweful fiend deck that absolutely rapes. it has 3 'wicked' fiends or some shit, rafael(the new obelisk) and a ton of other over powered cards lol. but thats also the problem. its too powerful =/ oh and my dragon deck is pretty good. blue eyes shining dragon is the fuckign best card ever. and my warrior deck is..alright i guess

How does a samurai deck work? I've seen people use it but don't know what the main purpose is. Example, macro monarchs use d.d survivor as a tribute and special summon it at the end of turn. What about the samurai?

My main six samurai monsters:
six-samurai Yaichi, Irou, Zanji, Grandmaster of the Six Samurai,Chamberlain of the Six Samurai, Great Shogun Shien
look up their effects if you want the full descriptions.
Grandmaster works by: if any six samurai monster is on your field, then he can be special summoned from your hand to the field, and if he is destroyed by your opp card effect, then you can pick any six samurai card from your graveyard.
Enishi: rape bitches
Shien: if 2 six samurai is on the field then you can special summon him from your hand to the field, and your opp can only use 1 magic/trap can be used per turn, with the effect of Grandmaster also.
What good magic cards to have are: Six Samurai United (pic), Pot of greed/Avarice, United We Stand (3), Magic Power (2), Reinforcement of the Army (I got 2) any equip card that allows trample, SoRL, Monster Reborn (no shit), Brain control, book of moon
traps: usual shit
3x solemn judgment,sakuretsu armor, torrential tribute, mirror force, trap hole, trap jammer, bottomless, offering tribute, etc
Typical strategies
:
Typically, six samurai decks want to start second because you want to get your monsters out AFTER they set theirs, if you go first, then you won't be able to attack with your barrage of six samurais
combo- any six samurai (Yaichi even better since he can destroy a face down magic/trap) > Grandmaster > Shien. won the match on my first turn like this, accompanied with united we stand and mystical space typhoon to destroy their face down
If you don't have Grandmaster right off the bat, or you have a Grandmaster but no other six samurai to summon out first, just use reinforcements of the army/pot off greed/grace charity, etc for a quick get
Book of the moon + Irou =
note- I didn't list any other monsters for a reason, just explaining how the deck is played.
As for my monarchs they are in this deck too, just in case :sst: Caius (shadow), Zaborg (thunder), and Mobius (frost) -

I would say get rid of those that you mentioned except Bottomless TrapHole just because it helps you a lot in the way that not only destroys your opoonent's summon monster but removes it from play.

If you're making a Macro Monarch deck, wouldn't you want to destroy your opponents monsters/other card by discarding your card from your hand to the graveyard? And how are you playing this? Looks like a beatdown deck to me
add monsters: Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer, Gran Maju da Eiza, Great Maju Garzette (always have him cuz he's beast), I always keep a Jinzo and Limiter removal no matter what, shit is too good ,
Add Magic: Nobleman Crossout
Add trap: Raigeki Break, Skull Lair + Gravekeepers Retribution is a must if you're planning to remove your opponent's card from play,
Keep SoRL, also Dimensional Fissure is already enough at 2. 1 Magic cylinder, and why do you not have a Woboku + Draining shield?
My opinion to get rid of: both of the Jujitzu masters, limit your monarchs to 2 each because there's a high chance that you'll draw them, but can't summon them since they are 6 stars, and your low level: high level monsters aren't at an equal ratio. 2 D. Fissure is enough.
That's all I can think of, but yeah. I've faced plenty of Monarch decks vs my Six Samurai deck, and as long as I go second...

Six Samurai decks have been long dead, they're pretty much unplayable. Monarch decks are still playable, although not top tier. If you're going to play monarchs then play cornarchs, run a lot of monarchs with spies/dekoichis and oppressions.
If anyone else on here has mentioned any fixes for a deck, don't listen to them. -

Six Samurai is not that Great, I played against them before and they have too many weaknesses, first u need to draw the right cards in order for the combo to work. Monarchs, yes I have played with them too, beated me couple times but there are weaknesses because like u said their stars, and this guy doesnt have that many monsters to Sacrifice which led me to wins many times.
I run a Warrior combine with Earth Deck and even if Many people have seen it and checked out my cards, they can't believe why I win against tough opponents since I use basic cards and not expensive and hard cards.
Anyways, I am not the best neither, because there is one guy that has played in Tournment and I have never played him but he beated everybody in the room.

I currently use a flip deck. My friend and I had a bet on whoever could create one under $10 and able to be the six samurai deck. We ended up working on it together for 2 hours or so and it exceeded our expectations. Not only it beat the six samurai deck 3/4 of the time, but it also beat the Monarch decks 2/3 of the time. Not bad for a bunch of commons huh? If you researched it for an hour, I bet you could find our deck we're using
Escorpio, I have no problems drawing the cards I need. I have exactly 43 cards in my six samurai deck and would always draw a six samurai and a Grandmaster in my first hand.
The only cons I see in running monarch and six samurai decks are that they can get expensive. Unless you're willing to pay $5 for a card, I wouldn't make either of them as a starter deck, that's why I mooch off my friend's. -

Does not sound bad but there are not many High-star-monsters which will lead you to a loss fast.
Add Shrink to the Magic Cards, it is always good to defend with Quick-Spell-Card because people today have Jinzo or Elementero Hero Wildheart which means Trap Cards useles.
In trap cards, add defense like negate attack like the mirror force but we need more, Sakuretsi armor, since Mirror Force is limited, add waboku "threatting Roar", "Magic Cylinder= to show your opponent how it feels like when he attacks", a Dark Bribe would be good to stop his/her plans.
Not bad at the end. -

guess i didnt explain myself. next to lightsworn this is the best deck in ygo right now. no need to play high star monsters anymore when you can pump out 5 synchro monsters with game ending effects in one turn.
shink is bad now in anything except maybe gadgets and gladiator beasts. no one and i mean no one plays jinzo or wildheart in competitive play ever.
negate attack, sak, are bad. if anything dimensional prision does everything sak armor does and removes the attacking monster from the game. waboku is only used in gladiator beast decks. threatening roar dosnt deal with onboard threats and will only prolong by one turn. no one has played magic cylinder since co burn died in 07. dark bribe is not so good right now because the biggest threats do not come from spell or traps anymore. u seem to know what some of the cards do so i suggest u read up on the cards in the extra deck. -
