could this be happening because of my wireless connection?

youtube lag happens to me all the time, and its always that my laptop's processor cant handle youtube videos along with other programs im running, so its most likely not your wireless connection

Dude you're grandma! hahah shes cool smile.gif

I've noticed the same thing with less powerful PCs running too much crap in the background like LoanShark said. And your resolution might not be helping, what is that?

i guess it might be my processor. i hardly run stuff in the background anyway.
soo what would be an alternative? get a new processor? or a new computer altogether?

    Can be many things.

Open up your task manager, start playing a video and see if any program rises up in Memory Usage or CPU Usage.

1 gb isnt really enough. i couldnt see your OS, but i would recommend atleast 2 gigs. you really should get 3 gigs if your OS is 32 bit. 4 gigs+ if your 64 bit

    Switch Firefox for Google Chrome.

Don't leave your computer on for too long. It strains your computer (don't give me the, "I play my online games all the time, leaving it on all day" excuse) Your computer will go down the shitter much faster, and unless your computer is properly ventilated, .__.

Only run the necessary programs (Rainmeter is nice and all, just if you want to show off your desktop, but don't keep it up since it eats up some of your memory too. I only have it up when someone's over or I need to show off my desktop rolleyes.gif)

Try installing both the newest version of Flash and your graphic card drivers.
