    Which do you prefer?
Just made a pen with sharpie caps, airfit jell tips, sailor grips, and ST body.
supposed to be a fake SEVEN watercolor, but w/e.

I tried having the tips face inside and out, and there certainly is a difference.
    Which do you prefer?
    And Why?
I wish to hear your thoughts.

i have never tried an inverse kt, but i hard inversed signo tips in my BSKT before, and i would say it spins well.

part of the reason is that weight is concentrated at the tip of a pen's tip, so when its inversed, the weight is more of distributed closer to the spin area. thats just my inference

The KT with the tips inside would have much less momentum and much more "felt" weight.
THe KT itself, is not a VERY long mod, and thus with tips outside you still feel a considerable heaviness. Putting tips inside the caps would increase the weight felt as it'd be closer to the cog, and also reduce momentum.
IMO, you would be better off with a normal KT happy.gif Unless you are adding ADDITIONAL weight tot he KT for extra momentum, in which case tips in the caps would add weight but also be a nice hide away for extra momentum.

    I like the regular kt

Not to mention that the normal KT would have nicer spinning effect under good light conditions(flashy flashy *-* biggrin.gif)

kt is much better than inverse kt. No point in turning it into a center heavy mod

I mean, it'll keep your hands from bleeding/injuries

Honestly, SEVEN's watercolor mod better than and inverted KT for several reasons; one of which, its lighter.

Id say a regular KT, dr.grip tips are too heavy, and inverting them would just add a jillion weights.

    HOWEVER!
If youre talking about the Sailor Grip scheme, thats a different story.
I have a problem debating about the red blue gray stripes theme, opposed to the gray with red and blue stripes tongue.gif
    (Like outlander's)

The only reason a watercolor mod works better is because the body is ALOT longer.

This length places the weight of the Dr.grip tips at almost the EXACT same distance from the COG of the mod as a regular dr.kt does.
(the COG on a dr.grip tip is close to the lip)

Agree. Any good long bodies that will fit KT caps?

I really dont like regular KTs in the first place. I do prefer inverted tips but only if the body is extended.

I actually really like the KT (with shaved tips) I think it has a very nice blance of barrel size to weight to lentgh the ratio is just right imo, (barrel may be a little short spinning area). But if the area was changed it would affect the pen alltogether.
