What is your opinion on higher resolution pictures in SOYP?
Should there be a limiter on the size?
    What is your screen resolution?

Personally I don't have the greatest internet connection and the odd time I visit SOYP i find my computer slows while loading massive pictures posted by random new spinners who are showing off their newest variation of their self mods. I dont mind having a look at these but to me there is no point in posting such big pictures of them. Imo if a person wants to see a bigger picture of a mod a PM is better suited for the job.

    What do you guys think?
Post if you think so or if not and why?
Also please post your screen resolution too tongue.gif

My post: 1280 x 1024 and yes there should be a limit. Because i find pictures that are 2592 x 1944 just stupid... (not saying any names)

(and yah i know my grammar and whatnot sucks tongue.gif)

Personally, I hate (lol) pics with very high resolutions. Period.

imo, putting them in spoilers should help to solve that problem somewhat. Am I right?

spoilers don't do anything, but hide stuff.

They'll still be loaded even if you hide them.

im pretty sure images inside spoilers are not loaded until you open them

Spoiler tags, problem solved. BUT ONLY IF PEOPLE ACTUALLY PUT THEIR HIGH RES PICS IN SPOILER TAGS!

Definately doesn't load them until you click the spoiler.

Maybe there could be an auto spoiler? Like when u quote pics it puts them in spoilers. Maybe there could be one where if the resolution is over ____ x ____ it could be auto spoilered?

I know this takes time to write the codes and stuff, but just a suggestion

I love high resolution images, but it gets annoying when firefox massively lags each time I open up SOYP or iMatt's trade thread (tongue.gif).
