I remember the Kammys. The only real problem was sometimes it was hard to tell who should really win what due to how active they were on the forums. If anyone wants to start them up again I could help in the judging.

I've said that I will start them up again/ run it, because I don't really think that you need to be a UPSB old-timer to run it. Judges would need to be fairly experienced though. Depending on the categories.

Sorry Tim, but I don't think you are the right person to run something like this. At least I'd not be as eager to help out/join/whatever if you ran it instead of someone who had been around longer.

To set up a committee isn't all that difficult. However, the most difficult part of the job is to think of good, interesting or important categories as well as the suitable nominees. If all the categories are similar to the 1st Kammies, then this wouldn't be interesting at all.
Anyway, I'm all for another Kammies, but, if you want to do it, please make it good. Phya set the benchmark, do not go below that. -

Now that UPSBv2 is back up, I put the info from the 2004 Kammy Awards into the wiki, go check it out and see what this year's organizers would be up against.

Dude, if anybody who has more experience/has been around longer or the RD wants to take over. I will gladly hand it over to them, I just want this to happen.

Phya has improved a lot since first joining the board in July. For those in doubt - compare his video from battle #2 to his video from battle #7... they can barely be considered to be from the same person.

kelvin always manages to do something that a lesser pen spinner wouldn't think of touching and turn it into something amazing. Whether it be the backhand tracer, two-finger twirl or everyone's favourite kamehameha release.

Battle 7 vid? Flawless. Battle 1 vid? Flawless. Superhandz vid? Flawless again. kam's combos are smoother than a baby's bottom... assuming said baby spends a fortune on butt moisturizer.
Best New trick - The trick that most pushed the limits of the art and was just plain cool.

This trick is something completely different. Although unfortunately overlooked, the trick still reminded people that there is so much more to be discovered

One of the most active battlers of all time. Beating kam in a battle is a huge feat in and of itself, but the real push in Phya's favour is how he always tried to do something new in every battle.

Few people would say that Phya's aerial battle didn't push the air trick category the hardest. Two new tricks. Two rare tricks. All put together smoothly. It also was the first in the traditional "hehe Phya looks funny" series.
Best Sense of humor - The funniest guy (or girl) on the board.
