1- Legend at the bottom of the page, so people know what each color means
2- Facebook-like status, enter your status at the top, exit the text box and THEN click update (might need to click update several times). Your status appear on your profile and in your posts. PLEASE DONT ABUSE IT!
IF YOU WANT TO CLEAR YOUR STATUS, SET YOUR STATUS TO 0 -

You have to click out of the edit box BEFORE hitting update, or it won't take.
EDIT: The black text in "Darkness" seems strange though, it's the only black text in the whole skin, it's hard to read. -

Since some idiots have already started to abuse the status, I put some restrictions:
150 max characters total
15 max word length (each word cannot be longer than 15)
so if your status doesn't update, check if its too long or the words are too long.
BTW if you have trouble updating your status, you must click update until you see the yellow box popup briefly. if your status doesnt update and you saw that yellow box, it means your status was too long.
another thing is that many ppl put the default text as their status. You're suppsoed to write down your status before clicking. Otherwise your status is "" which looks stupid. -

I'm not sure what you mean by "legend at the bottom of the page."
