Ok, Zombo ages ago developed a really amazing way to do team battles, involving more than just skill, but strategy as well.

It involves 2 managers with teams of 7 spinners (+1 reserve) each. The managers go through several rounds of making 'moves' to try to get favorable matchups (their good spinners vs other team's bad spinners).

I'm not going to put the full rule set here, it can be found In The Wiki or for an example, in UCPSB we did both a Beta Test and a full on HUGE Team-Spinning Tournament.

I'm looking to see if anybody wants to be a manager against me for a battle of this style. To be clear: MANAGER DOES NOT BATTLE, but instead is the mastermind and strategist behind the team.

The other manager can be someone who's familiar with this system, or someone who's new to it. If you have any questions feel free to ask me, I've been through this a few times, and it's loads of fun.

Once I get a confirmed manager then I'll make a sign-up thread for spinners, and the two managers will pick teams (Via a 'snaking' pick order, aka ABBAABBAABB etc)

This seems complicated, but once you understand how it works it's really easy and lots of fun. Post here if you're interested or want more info. biggrin.gif

excellent. you fully understand the rules and such? if you want we can run a few practices with no actual spinners, just like "spinner 1, spinner 2" etc, just to get the feel for it.

I think I got it, but a practice round wouldn't hurt
