Any thoughts about the line ups, on strategy, or the team in general use this thread to talk about it.
Basically how this works is, there are 5 matches, 2 of which are doubles, one of the singles and one of the doubles are worth 3 points instead of 2, so we want to win those ones.
Anything you say here I will take into consideration

Well... so far the strongest line up that I can think of will be something like this...
Singles 1 (This will be the one with three points): vicgotgame1
Singles 2: mystic
Singles 3: SMP
Doubles 1 (This will be the one with three points): AwonW and Raem
Doubles 2: Yosky and Simplex?
and me as reserve.

mm i am fine in doubles or singles but i think considering who they have on the team it would be best to put me in doubles and have stronger spinners in singles. but what do you think?

Um, I believe Eriror and his mod friends can read this topic by the way... So... Yeah.
Anyway, we should try to take those three point ones as our main priority. So maybe vic takes the single match and figure out who gets the doubles. We don't want our focus just on the single matches and lose the 3 pts from the doubles. I'm fine with anything, really. -

Yeah I wasn't sure about the doubles thing.
It was either Awonw and Simplex for doubles 1 and Raem and Yosky for doubles 2...

I sent Eriror a message not to read this, hes a trust worthy guy imo, so I am not worried.
I was thinking of something like wind as well, we also get to swap the line ups and freeze line ups before they are official. If vic thinks he can beat Eriror then we can go with winds, otherwise we might be better letting Eriror win 3 points if we can't stop him, and use vic to essentially guarantee 2 points, if we assume they put Eriror into 3 points, I play freeze on the 3 point match and hes stuck there. something to consider. -

Those can work out too. But the angles are way too different for charlie and yosky if they do something like a throw or roll transition or something like that. (does it really count?)

But, yeah... Maybe its better for the team to let those 3 pts go for the singles. But that means we have to have the doubles. So let's secure that first.

If they do that vic should be able to score the 3 points; that's advantageous for us. If they do put Eriror in the 3 point single we want to be confidant we can win or else we are better off putting that spinner (vic) elsewhere. Since we seem to be confidant vic can win I figure we should go for it.

I don't normally prefer doubles, but if I am in one, I'd like to pick the transition. Though is it a good idea to stick me and mystic together? IMO, the three strongest spinners would be me vic and mystic. Could be better to spread us out.
I say it's best to stick Vic in the 3 pter. I'm sure they'll be expecting that and they'll have either eri or elu there.
Oh, and if the due date is sometime in January, I'll be back at my apartment by then and I'll have a set angle. Either one of these:

I didn't know you didn't prefer doubles, I could put you on singles instead of AwonW, then have AwonW with Mystic. That should still give us good odds at getting that 3 pointer.

For the double battles, we should have a Lefty -> Righty, or Righty -> Lefty, since that way the transition will look better. Like JEB's WC08 finals double battles, it was Saizen(Left) -> kUzu(Right), then Saizen(Left) -> Pesp(Right). Which looked very good.

Good thinking, AwonW and Mystic are leftys, Simplex and Raem are rightys.
So for the 3 pointer we could put Mystic and Raem and for the 2 pointer AwonW and simplex.
Right now the line up would look like
Singles 1 (This will be the one with three points): vicgotgame1
Singles 2: SMB
Singles 3: Yosky
Doubles 1 (This will be the one with three points): Mystic and Raem
Doubles 2: Simplex, AwonW
Wind = reserve
The match ups are going to be determined wednesday, if everyone is happy with what they are doing I could go in with 3 freezes to really limit the swaps they might want to do. Just that we won't get to swap ourselves that way

Those are the matchups, yeah I know I said I was putting Mystic and Raem in the 3 pointer, but I didn't double check my PM before sending, the moral of the story is read over stuff before handing it in (school stuff too)
on the bright side, I am pretty confidant in the resulting lineups

The timelimits for videos are 25 seconds a clip, the doubles are 25 seconds a clip, but the total video is allowed to be 55 seconds long, so 5 seconds can be used for the transition.
Be careful about the timing, its most likely any timing issues will have a harsh penalty to them, DO NOT go over its worse than if you had a huge pause mid combo, keep that in mind while filming.

Solid combo, vic. I expect nothing less and I liked how you used the triangle pass infinity hybrid again, except this time in a harmonic. I liked the initial hybrid in the beginning and the trick you used to link into the tpass infinity hybrid. Nice combo overall with a pretty nice finisher, hai tua into the TF Shadow ~ Handaround.
Good enough to beat Eriror? That's another question. -

Same. I don't know how much Eriror has improved lately. But I expect some intricate and high difficulty mini-combos from eri. He's gonna be surprise. Go for both and let the team help pick? -

Huh, really now? People usually complain about my excess hand movement. I find it harder to spin standing up though. Harder to concentrate and also harder to use more difficult tricks. -

Or flying and bouncing off random crap. You can have the pen break apart and have things attach on to it. And finally it turns from a frat mx^2 to...whatever pen the second pser is using. -

Eriror didn't submit but he said if an extension is allowed he will film ASAP.
Personally I see if a person didn't submit for whatever reason the opponent should claim the free win, although I do feel bad about doing that kind of thing.
However if vic wants to grant an extension to Eriror and there isn't strong disagreement from the team that can happen.
Thoughts? opinions? etc. -

It all depends on how long this extension will be. Letting Eriror have the extension should mean I get an extension as well, since i could possibly get a better combo. But im not going to refilm for I have tons of filming for other things to do this month. So if there's a week long extension that wouldnt be fair since my combo would be 2 weeks older and not up to par.

PM Eriror to find out exactly how long he will need, then give me a yes or no answer. I don't think you should put yourself at a disadvantage because he isn't punctual, but you could always use your 2 week old combo for something you were supposed to film for this month, then use the time to refilm for this. I really don't know how much more effort you put on this then what you need to film for though.
He did mention that he will battle you outside the team battle if an extension wasn't allowed. -

Yea id rather battle him when im not so busy. Would be a better battle imo.
