I actually don't like this vid as much as others. If this is a real pen-spinning promotional video, wouldn't you want to show what pen-spinning is about? Well, I couldn't really see much at all, to be honest. I also saw a lot of stuff that you actually never see in normal penspinning videos.
What I'd ask myself [and asked myself when making my promo with Eso] is: "Would people get interested in penspinning when seeing this video?". And... I didn't really get that feeling when watching Minwoo's promo. It was good, but not really good at doing what it seemingly aimed at. -

i don't like how it cuts mid trick
this is edited/filmed like a card flourishing video, and i REALLLY hope that people aren't inspired to make other videos like this.
when this style of editing caught on the the flourish/xcm world, it became about editing skills and not the difficult/creativity of the tricks
i understand that it is coool, but it would legitimately destroy penspinning if it caught on -

It's definitely the most professional I've seen and that's what's important. It makes a good first impression (aside from that corny beginning scene) and the aesthetics of the video were very impressive.
It's not like normal people can "see" what's going on in a combo anyway so I think it's okay that some parts of the video were hard to see. I'm sure the more advanced spinners didn't have trouble breaking down any parts of the video anyway.
The video speaks volumes without using some corny lines. It impresses thereby making a good first impression. What more do you need? When you first picked up pen spinning, did you really think, wow, such determination and creativity.
