Maybe it helps, but I don't think: "Whoa you have to think, let's spin" ^^ I often spin while answering a question to a teacher, but I don't know whether I do this because it helps me think...
But sometimes spinning is just nerv racking and I can't think really while spinning.

I'm somewhat more of a auditory learner, but I do have a bit of kinetic learner in me, meaning I have to be moving around to pay attention.

So yes, it does help me think. happy.gif

I feel it detracts from my concentration.
Whenever I spin and try to think ehh,.. Most people think when you're spinning your thinking tho so yah wink.gif

My teachers get pissed at me when I spin my pen and answer them, especially when I drop it, usually on purpose just to get them pissed.

No, it distracts me from thinking if anything. However it does help me calm down if im upset, angry or whatever.

    I've never thought about that...

i don't know if it does help me think when i spin but i do know that if i do hard tricks, i can't concentrate on what i'm thinking XP

Sometimes it helps me when I need to learn for class work or tests.
But in class it helps me not because I was barely noticed.
Everyone must decide for themselves whether it helps or not.

If me, it doesn't help me because when i spin random combo (in class or any where) i don't realize that i'm spinning tongue.gif

lol only if I'm doing simple stuff like sonics and thumbarounds and stuff..
if I'm screwing around and making combos, I'm in a new land away from the classroom laugh.gif

Yeah, definitely helps when it is an old, well-practiced trick. But I have been doing homework when I get distracted trying to get some combo for over an hour.

i would say it depends on the difficulty. whether it's well practiced, moderately practiced, or if it's new territory. for me, it helps to insert some spinning in between long boring paragraphs to help space apart loads of info-the spacing effect. but then again, it doesn't help in the sense that i brought my pen- and i know it's there for me to spin anytime tongue.gif

When I stop to think, I'd start spinning but a lot of times it distracts me. I don't think it stimulates my brain to think better though...

Sometimes when i'm thinking, i'll be doing sonic rises or something and i feel like rather than helping me think, it's just like relieving the stress i have from being able to figure out an answer or something

But spinning definitely distracts more than helps me concentrate...i wouldn't see how it's possible to multitask and split your brain's focus, and expect it to help you concentrate on one more

Spinning and thinking aren't even really related anyway...

I think it can't be,because it let me cannot heard teacher speak
