Here is the mod that I've spent almost a year perfecting, testing, spinning and critiquing. It is byfar one of the best pens I've spun and I really enjoy it. It is alittle difficult to make but if you like a modding challenge then this mod is perfect for you. It spins with the feeling of having just the right amount of momentum, but does not overdo it. All in all it is a very sturdy mod and one which I think you will like just as much as me.

nice mod and nice tut. btw isnt M&G X-Power only available in china?
if so than this mod is harder to make because you have to find subs for the grip or trade someone for it.
and a lot of materials too im planning to mkae this soon as i get the parts -

They're found in France. As Guit mentions in his vid, they're the pens used for Twim's LMB Mod (Le Mod Blanc)

yes you can use those as subs but they will make the mod .5cm longer unless you cut it. i chose Ulmann eraser bodies so that the cost is cheaper (because m&m's are a rarity now and ac's have a different tint than the comssa caps). pirat would work but you would again have to cut down the body and the texture would be different.

Can we use 1 tornado grip instead of 2? And is the stuff with the comssa body really necessary, I don't want to waste 2 comssas. Maybe You could sub it with a supertip? -

without it the grip is flimsy because tornado grips aren't that sturdy. It makes whipers easier -

you could, but you already have 2 bodies from the 2 caps and 2 backcaps so might as well use them and then also i used 2 so that they would be even pieces and each piece would have one end that isnt cut (thats the end that you can see after you put the grip on) it just looks better -

Yeah, but if you sub the body and are just using something like a DC comssa, just cut the body twice... -

supertip is not a good sub for the body because the comssa cap does not go over the other end of the supertip so the mod would be ugly (thats another reason why i dislike the buster) -

Guitrum, I think he's talking about the part where you cut the comssa bodies and put them on the ends of the pen, because he said he's using a super pirat for the body. A supertip is an acceptable sub, but wont be as good of a sub as a comssa body because it has a larger diameter. As a result, the ends of the grip may flare out (which may be a good or bad thing depending on your taste).

personally i think they are better. also they are cheaper and easier to clean XD
and an update is i weighed this mod on a HELLA accurate scale in my chemistry lab and i got 16.5 grams on the dot -

If you leave the grips the same length in the tutorial without the comssa body part, the grips will be really flimsy. If you don't want to cut the comssa bodies, you can cut the grips shorter.

Well, I don't really think it matters where you cut it, just eyeball it, and As for emptying the grip matic, after cutting, the mech is fairly easy to remove. -

the body is from a Reynolds Super Lavable, and yes it is soft bodied, has a nice feel, and is clear unlike a ballsign body

btw if this mod feels alittle too hollow for you, an easy fix is to cut a length of a paper towel and then roll it really tight then slide it inside the barrel.
it changes how the mod feels when spun but in a positive way, i suggest it -

Like guitrum said, comssa caps don't fit over the st body, I can't get any m&m's atm, and super pirat gets dirty to easily for me... -

Yeah, pretty much just use an M&M or a superpirat. Superpirat is probably the best sub, since M&M's keep their finish even after rubbing, whereas superpirats don't (like ulmann erasers).

I was wondering a few things, cause i am trying to only order from penwish. I am also in Australia...
Can i use a "Super Tips from Crayola" body, like the ones found on the buster? Link/Info
Does +Guitrum+ use 2 white Pilot G2? Or does he use something else? If so where can i get them.
Basically if Guitrum could confirm or deny that the materials are the same but only white versions.
And if anyone could confirm if the cyl body would work fine? (The dong-a comssa caps do fit on them)
And if anyone could suffest where to get while Pilot G2 grips from..
BTW this pen looks like the best mod EVER!

If you read through the thread, you would find that Supertips are a bad sub. Try Super pirats. Also, he uses Clear G2 grips (sub with supergrips, possibly).
