So, ive noticed two different comssa caps and im sure lots of other people have too but i just wanted to post some up close pictures for others to see:
~
#1 - this is the one I like because its rounded and doesnt poke you when spinning. they are the only ones I use when I mod.
~
#2 - i hate these and i always use them when i test something out on comssa caps that end up ruining them afterwards so sometimes they are good to have. but whenever i make mods out of them and spin them the corners poke me and its annoying...

n e ways, DISCUSS or something -

I've noticed that too. A lot of the yellow caps i get for pw are #2's and the rest including cartoon miffies are #1's.
However I don't really mind either. Feel the same to me... -

I've never noticed.
But now I see I used the two different kinds for one mod. -

I don't like using Dong-A caps at all. I don't like the dumps anyhow. I find them annoying because it's not symmetrical and just the feeling bothers me. I prefer using Namae caps.

dude its a marker.
there is only one size
the second ones fit american dr.grip rings nicely.
However, i've never noticed a difference.
I can only assume #2 is old style, and #1 is new style -

Why do you always assume you are right? -

comssa's have only ever come in one size that ive ever seen, anywhere.
If you can show a fine comssa nib, then i'll believe you.
Having a picture of a box doesnt mean it is in the psing world.
I have pictures of aqua comssa 24 packs.... have you seen one before?
As I said, any BOX, picture, or comssa that anyone (that ive seen) has ever owned, has always been the same size.
Please prove me wrong. -

There are some boxes that say fine and medium but they all have the exact same nib.

In this case no one was right, I suggest people argue only about things they know, in this case, Stevie had more knowledge and from his personal experience he saw no other kind of comssa,
Nation on the other hand made a claim based off of, well, nothing and his own whim.
Neither of them were right, however Stevie backed up his claim where as Nation was just making an assumption. -

I have reasons, not just a random guess.
Maybe I'm wrong, But that was my thoughts.
1. The ones with the "bad" nub are thinner caps, they have a harder time going on to my comssa bodies.
2. I was told that The "bad" nub caps were fine, I was saying what I had heard.
I had also noticed that the smaller caps do not need tape to go on the back of a name body, but the Large caps do.
So maybe I'm wrong. -

Just saying that I;ve noticed there are 2 different super tip variations too. The cap and backcap of one version does not fit the body of the other...

I have a ton of these "knubs" caps and don't really notice them affecting spinning at all... its similar in card manipulation, people blame a certain type of this or that deck for not being able to do moves
I think the caps sometimes have big fat grips sticking out right (like airfits or something) so this knub is still smaller than that. the only concern is if you're trying to do palmspin or something you don't want something bonking... but good technique solves all
