i could care less about winning or rank or anything ... i just like messing around and having fun ... rather than just posting in "show off your combos" I just find somebody to battle xD
my record overall is like 3-25 or something lol, because i don't care about winning.

Someone's a little too emotional today. Chillax, dude. When I have I ever flamed anyone? Aside from the occasional nub on the shoutbox (which is a rarity).
I'm just mentioning that you should improve and get better. Is that so insulting? There's always room for improvement, no matter how good you are. You need to amp up your game if you want to compete with the modern pen spinners. Our standards have risen greatly since your time. Yeah, you're pretty good for an old school spinner, but you have catching up to do.
I don't find that "mean" at all. But hey, I guess the truth hurts sometimes, eh?
Oh, and imo, one-sided battles aren't very fun. -

You posted two vids that I remember, one with a hai tua and vic-like midbaks. You were doing both of them incorrectly. I was just pointing that out. There is no hostile intent within my posts whatosever. Only in yours, sir.

In the hai tua vid I VERY CLEARLY say "these aren't correct, just me having fun" and in the midbak vid I'm doing nothing incorrectly, just not to your likings. And in this, I was prepared to just ignore your comments if you were willing to even mention Jamie's video or something, but you didn't. You singled me out, saying I was trying to "prove" something (untrue) and that for some reason I have to "get better first" (before I battle? i'm pretty sure there's not skill requirement for the battlezone.)
If nothing else, let's leave it at, if I want your opinion, I'll ask for it. Until then, leave me the fuck alone about my "interesting ..." spinning. Cool? -

I don't see how battles can be fun if you just lose. I mean I can see how penspinning and filming stuff can be fun
but having battles is a way of seeing how good you are. However, if that's how you have fun... then go ahead. -

If his record is 3-25 then he has always been like this. Its not like he comes back thinking hes hot stuff. Also saying something like gotta get better first before battling is kinda dickish. Thats basically saying hes not good enough, its way better if you just say what he needs to improve in a constructive tone.
I personally find the whole battle thing fun myself, regardless of the result. Just because you don't like losing doesn't mean everyone does. The only person that can really complain about 1 sided battles is the winner, but jamie accepted the battle presumably knowing strat's skill so I don't see the issue here.

Calm down ladies.
Strat can battle all he wants and who he wants.
The other person must accept the battle and they probably have a very good idea of the fact that Strat battles a lot and of his skill level.
So both parties want the battle. If you don't like his battles, don't watch them. Battles are fun, even if you lose, to some people at least. There is no problem here except that...

is way out of line and should apologize or at least shut up. -

I didn't think I was. My bad. I apologize. But I've just been talking to strat sometimes on the shoutbox and he seemed like a relatively cool guy, joked around a bit with him. As a dude, I do tend to act tough among male friends, didn't think that was out of line. Whatever.

You were both very good. Strat, that was a very nice spider spin with a commsa. Very impressive. I would suggest a slight adjustment of your camera angle, though. Both of you were spectacular.

Yes, that's not my typical angle, I was home for the holidays so I was away from my desk where I typically film.
